How can you look great in your bikini? You need a great figure, a toned body, a good bustline and tan skin which sounds near possible, or is it? You'd be surprised how much you can do with your natural assets. With hard work, discipline and a clear plan, you can look fabulous in your swimsuit. Step 1. Watch Your Diet. To lose weight, you have to consume less calories than you burn. It is easier not to put the calories in your mouth than it is to burn them off, so take a reality check. Keep a food diary. Write everything you eat and every thing you drink in it every day and total up the calories you actually consume. Now plan your diet. How many calories did you consume because of soft drinks, sweetened drinks, alcohol and other beverages. Switch to water and green tea (without sugar) as much as possible. Water has zero calories. Green tea speeds up your metabolism. Both help you lose weight. As for food, how many calories did you consume in your snacks alone? In junk food. In deep fried food. Switch to healthier alte atives for starters. Need motivation? Get on a treadmill and see how long it takes to bu 150 calories (1 can of coke). How many cans did you drink? How hard would it be to burn off those calories? 100g of pringles has 558 calories. How hard must you work to burn that off? 2. Exercise You need exercise to boost your metabolic rate so that your body burns more calories, even when you rest. Get up an hour early and work out. Go for a run before breakfast everyday. Go swimming or cycling as often as you can. 3. Exfoliate Get your skin smooth, soft and dewy way in advance. Use a body scrub every day and follow that up with a moisturizer. A bonus is that your self tanner would give you a more even color once your skin is smoothened up. 4. Get tanned without the sun. If you bake in the sun, the UV rays will damage your skin in the long run, leading to earlier and deeper wrinkles, liver spots at an early age and possibly skin cancer. A natural tan is a sign of damage. Those tanning machines are just as bad, blasting UV rays at you to darken your skin, damaging your skin in the process. Be smart. Use a sunless tanning lotion. 5. Detox The weekend before you hit the beach, detox by going green all day long. Start the morning with wheat grass juice and veggie juices for breakfast. Still hungry? Have a huge salad without the cream. For lunch, have another big salad with vinegar dressing. Snack on celery and carrots and cucumber in between. For dinner, have a giant bowl of veggie soup. Absolutely no wheat or diary throughout the weekend. By the time you hit the beach, your body is in the best shape possible given the time limit and what you started off with.
