You may think that this irrelevant but self confidence is very important in every human being especially since lots of people are dealing with daily struggles and obligations. This trait can either break or make, and you cannot even run from it. If you don’t believe in yourself, it will definitely show, but the worst thing is that even people around you will no longer believe in you either. It is your obligation to believe in yourself first before making others believe in you. Now, don’t think that you can be confident anytime you feel like it. You cannot simply say, “Today, I will be confident.” This is definitely not the case. It takes a lot of practice to be confident. You must have the determination or perseverance to do so. If you are just faking it, again it will show and your confidence level will most likely go down the drain whenever you meet people who are confident about themselves. So, you have to be honest with yourself and think about your positive traits. Every human being is made in a unique way. You have some traits which are better than the others. Dwell on that and work on the aspects where you think you are inept. Think positively and free yourself from doubts. Take note that humans, by nature, are not perfect and everyone has their own flaws just like you. So, if you fail in a particular aspect, try again. Time will come when you will be able to master the same. rnThink like people who are confident about themselves. Confident people are not afraid to try anything even if they think that they can’t make it. Still they have the burning spirit to accomplish things until they become experts on that field. Self confident people are not used to blaming others. If they fail, they will think of that as a challenge and will not point fingers on others just to free themselves from being blamed. They are reasonable and will not rant on others right away. They will take every action in a calm and peaceful manner and they believe that everything will be resolved with a good talk. They know how to defend what they believe in without hurting other people’s feelings. They are gentle but firm. So, with these self confident individuals as your example, for sure you will also develop that self confidence within you. Remember that self confidence is viral thus interacting with the right people can generate self confidence as well. Here are some tips that could help boost your self esteem: Always smile. As they say, if you will smile, the world will smile with you, but if you will cry, then expect to cry alone. So smile genuinely and greet people warmly. Dwell on the things that you want and not on those things that you do not like. Dwelling on negative things can only make your day worse. Treat those things where you are not good at as a challenge and focus on the things where you excel. rnGo for what you want! Don’t feel embarrassed if you fail first. Practice on it to make it perfect. Don’t be scared to discover new things. The world is just waiting for you to open up. Understand yourself. If you think that you are inept in some aspects, then don’t lose hope and think positively. Don’t reject opportunities just because you think you can’t do it. There is always a room for improvement. Treat others in the same way you want them to treat you. As the saying goes, do not do unto others what you don’t want others do unto you, thus if you want to be viewed in a positive way, then act positively and treat others the best way you can.
