Laughter, sorrow, cheerfulness and tension show on your face, and this is normal for everyone. Over time, your skin can become lined or wrinkled. These lines are an indication of the life you’ve led. The more wrinkles on your face, the more emotions you’ve experienced. Tattoos are widely accepted across all cultures, both as a fashion trend and as a way to commemorate important events.rnThese days, wearing a tattoo is considered high fashion, and they are fast becoming popular among today’s youth. Now that tattoos are rising in popularity, expert tattoo designers are warning young people of the dangers of sporting a tattoo. Here are five warnings that tattoo designers give their clients: 1. Understand the symbolism of the tattoo design. Tattoo enthusiasts pay scant attention to the wide selection of tattoo designs that they see in a tattoo shop. Newbie tattoo designers let their clients select a design without educating them on its meaning. People, however, find out the significance of their tattoos from friends and acquaintances. This can be the case with Celtic, tribal, Chinese and ancient tattoo designs. It’s very frustrating to have a tattoo design inked on your body that you don’t know the meaning of. Since tattoos are a means of self-expression, it’s important to know what your tattoo design means. 2. Beware of any reaction to tattoo inks. Before having a tattoo inked, find out if the ink could cause a reaction in you. Good tattoo designers know the inks that can cause an allergy and those that are safe. As a precautionary measure, it would be best for you to read the label of your designer’s tattoo kit. If you feel redness or itching after a tattoo session, speak to your health provider or your tattooist for advice. 3. Avoid tattoo shops you feel uncomfortable about. When looking for the perfect tattoo shop, you’ll come across cheaper shops, too. However, expert tattoo designers always warn their prospective clients against such places. While you save good money here, you stand to contract certain diseases. The government also warns us against dubious tattoo shops. Ensure that your preferred tattoo shop has the necessary permits to operate as one before you hire its services. 4. Find out aftercare methods. Once you have the tattoo inked on you, shouldn’t you find out some aftercare methods? Immediately after the tattoo session, the inks used need special care. For instance, some inks should not come in contact with water, while some others should be kept cold for a while. Regular tattoo maintenance is a must, according to tattoo designers. By asking for aftercare methods, tattoos last much longer and look as fresh and new as when first done. 5. Be sure you want that tattoo. Before entering a tattoo shop and asking to be inked, be absolutely sure that you want a tattoo done. This is because tattoos generally last a lifetime, so you need to be absolutely sure you want it. After all, having a tattoo removed can be a very bad experience. Not only is it extremely painful, but also very expensive.
