A simple treatment is to make an Amla paste; a paste of average thickness works well and can be applied with your hands or brush just as we did with the oil in above. If you get any difficulty with this method, you can make a thinner paste and put it in a compress bottle, then apply to the scalp and hair. Wrap with a shower cap to prevent dust from sorroundings, and let it for about 30 minutes. Then wash with warm water.

For more conditioning treatment, try this same Amla powder mixed with plain yogurt, and then rinse with a gentle shampoo

3. Avoid heat to your head.

This includes in the bathe and with appliances. Particularly hot water will leave your hair dry and weak. After the shower, do not use any heating appliances such as hair irons and blow dryers.

4. Eat foods that supply to healthy and beautiful hair.

In Ayurveda, as hair is considered a by-product of the formation of bone tissue, the foods that nourish healthy bones will also nourish healthy hair.

Take fresh dairy products such as non-homogenized milk, fresh non-sour yogurt and fresh unfermented cheese (like paneer). Coconut is also suggested, as is coconut water helps hair growing strong and healthy. As for vegetables, take fresh greens, such as spinach and kale as well as some white daikon radish. Plan your diet with healthy oils, fats, and proteins from foods such as walnuts, clarified butter and sesame seeds.

Drink plenty of water to keep the cells pleased and functioning optimally.

For beautiful and healthy hair avoid sour, excess salt, spicy and fermented foods.

5. Take Ayurvedic herbs that maintain the health of your hair.

Taking herbs supports your healthy nutritional habits and gives your hair a strong boost. Top four herbs that support thick, shiny and lustrous with natural color are Amalaki; Brahmi (or Gotu Kola), Bhringraj, which is known as the “king of the hair” and hibiscus flower. You can take these herbs as steeping the powder in hot water for 5-10 minutes, as a tea or you can take them in tablet form.
