Even after consulting your doctor, he or she will recommend this as one of the things you should do to end your sleeping problem. Eliminate food and beverages containing caffeine from your diet especially in the late afternoons and evenings. Dinner should be consumed 4 to 5 hours before sleep. If you are hungry 1 or 2 hours before going to bed, take a light snack like a fruit like apple or pear or half bowl of cereals. Do stick to it even on weekends and public holidays. Finally make sure your bed is clean and free from anything except bedsheet, blanket and pillow. 4.
