Who here likes little red dots appearing on their face? Anyone? Let’s face is, acne is not a fun thing to deal with, but we all have to deal with it at some point in our life. No matter what age, acne affects over 40 millio Americans, so don’t worry, you’re not alone! Acne is the most common skin condition that occurs when skin follicles that connect the pores and oil glands get clogged due to the excessive production of sebum (oil produced by skin). Acne’s main causes can vary from stress, hormonal imbalance and/or living an unhealthy lifestyle. However, along with the above factors and genetics, there are certain patterns you could be repeating on a daily basis that can cause you to break out or can even aggravate your already pesky issue. If you tried almost all acne products available in market and did not get the results, i am sure you did not try this magical acne treatment cream by Keeva Organics. 1. Frequently Touching Your Face I know it’s seems silly - but honestly touching your face frequently is the fastest way to clog your pores. If you think about it, your hands touch everything, which attracts a lot of GERMS, while also trapping extra sweat and oil to the mix. Yikes! 2. Eating Spicy Foodsr Real talk - spicy foods are bomb! We all know without a little kick in our meal, it won’t be too tasty. However, could eating spicy foods be the culprit to your acne problems? Spicy foods contain an acidic compound that irritates most skin types. So we may have to lay off the spice from time to time! If you have a hard time doing this - try testing it out for a week or two, to figure out if this triggers your skin problems. 3. Peanut Butter Loverr Like spicy foods, how could you not LOVE peanut butter too? Peanut butter might also be the underlying culprit to your acne problems. Though peanut butter has its benefits, the oils in peanuts and peanut butter in general are very tough for the body to break down - which basically means if the toxins can’t get through the liver, they get ejected through the skin and as a result leads to acne. 4. You Aren’t Showering Right Away After A Workoutr When we workout - our body screams SHOWER! We just feel gross and sweaty… Most of the time we do shower right away, right? However, for whatever reason we don’t shower right away or not even shower at all, this will cause major problems to our skin - allowing the makeup, dirt, bacteria and oil that was already on your skin mix with sweat to form. TIP: Try your best to hit up the showers once you workout - but if it’s not possible, use an antibacterial wipe to wipe down the sweat on your body. 5. Getting Too Much Sunr It’s finally getting warmer, and you’re taking advantage of every minute of the sun – because you know you want to get a head start on that summer body glow, knowingly you are aware that lying out in the sun can still cause you skin cancer and possibly is the culprit of your acne? How, you wonder? The sun is actually causing your skin to dry out and triggering more oil production, which can lead to more zits. 6. Scrubbing Your Face A common mistake people make when they discover acne on their face is to scrub their face. To your surprise, scrubbing your face causes the skin to worsen because excess exfoliation causes inflammation and swelling of clogged pores. TIP: Limit your exfoliation to only twice a week. Wash your face with lukewarm water and a gentle cleanser.
