The origin of this relaxation method dates back thousands of years and for today’s generation; it’s one of the biggest stress busters for today’s generation. For ailments like arthritis, headaches and depressions, there are several kinds of massages. However, the simplest and the most effective one has always been the head to toe relaxation massage in Auckland. Predominantly, massages can be of three types – Deep Tissue, Swedish and Rolfing. But more often than not people can’t manage to go in a massage parlour or spa everyday which is why learning the art of self-massage can come in handy to you. Here are some of the most popular self-massaging techniques that you can practice on another person:- • Squeeze upper shoulders: Stand behind the person squeeze the top shoulder towards the triangular shaped muscles that you find on both sides of the shoulder. This muscle is known for holding toxins and stress which is why you should repeat the motion at least 3 times to release the pressure. • Finger kneading: First and foremost, keep the fingers straight and together. You can either do some basic kneading, or you can rock the fingers back and forth. Start from the head and make your way down the neck to the shoulder muscles right down to the back. After repeating this 3 times, go over to the opposite side. • Lobster claw: Essentially you will have to use your whole hand to knead or squeeze muscles as if you had a lobster claw in your hand. After that, rub the hands on the back while altering hands to provide a smooth movement. You should repeat this process at least 20 times. • Head massage: For a head massage, put your fingers at the hairline on the back of your head. Start with the middle and make a small circular movement with your fingers leading to the outside. Keep on doing this movement up the back of the head. Once you’ve hit the top while scalping, move back down. • Fist tapping: Use the smaller part of the fist and softly tap on the back of the shoulders. Tap the whole shoulders and back. • Karate chops: Open your hands and start doing some karate chops on the upper back and shoulder muscles. • Finishing strokes: Though they are delicate, their importance can’t be underestimated. Preferably, you will never want to end the relaxation massage in Auckland by giving heavy and hard strokes. You can help in the recovery process by using gentle and soft strokes. These are the predominant kinds of massage that most therapists perform in a spa or massage parlour. Naturally, if you try to do these massages on your own, you won’t reap many rewards because the difference between trained hands and untrained hands is blatantly noticeable. These days office massage in Auckland has grown immensely popular because it not only gives employees a chance to relieve stress but also serves as a means of motivation to work harder.
