Flat Dumbbell Chest Press
Do this by lying flat on your back on any bench and hold two dumbbells with both hands and slowly push them upwards, altogether. After which, lower the dumbbells in a slow and controlled manner. Repeat this movement for as long as you can.
Close grip chin-ups
Hold a bar and hang yourself into it, while slowly bringing yourself all the way up to the bar. While on top, hold yourself for a moment and then slowly go all the way down. Repeat this step again.
Seated Dumbbell Shoulder Press
This exercise is considered to be one of the best exercise to gain muscle and is done sitting on a bench while both hands are holding the dumbbells at shoulder level and then slowly bringing them up, overhead. Make sure not to lock your elbows out when doing this exercise. Lower the dumbbells slowly and then repeat all over again.
Bicep Curls
Settle down on a bench and hold the dumbbells while letting your arms hang on the side. Keep your elbows on hold while lifting the dumbbells up in a slow and controlled motion. Pause for a little bit while the dumbbells are up, and then bring them down again.
Squat
Start by standing straight while your feet are shoulder width apart, and then slowly bend your hips and knees. When you descend, do it as if you are about to sit on a chair and keep on descending until your thighs will be in parallel with the floor. And then slowly rise while keeping your torso to position at the same angle as the floor and never allow your knees to touch each other, and then repeat the movement again.
Standing Calve Raises
Do this by standing straight with your knees locked and place a barbell across the back of your shoulders. Place your feet at the rim of the chair and your toes should be pointed forward and then lower your heels slowly. And then, raise your heels up slowly, until such time that you are back to the standing position and then start all over again.
Deadlifts
While your feet is flatten on the floor beneath the bar, begin to squat and hold the bar in the same width as your shoulder. Then slowly lift the bar up while extending your hips and knees to full extensions. Afterwards, pull your shoulders back on top of the lift and repeat the process again.
Aside from performing the best exercise to gain muscle, it is essential that you also a follow well-balanced diet. Another thing to remember is to take proper rest and recovery in between your workouts, because these are essential in the development of your muscles. Because if you will not do these two, then all your efforts in building great muscles will become useless.
