If you take these easy steps and apply them in your life, you can look younger and feel younger for longer than you think! Below are 7 of the best secrets to keeping you looking and feeling younger: 1. Your Diet is important. The best thing for your diet is fruits and vegetables. Focus on only the best organic, raw, and fresh if you are able to. Variety is the best; try to choose different ones daily. Colors matter, different colors mean different vitamins that you need if you want to keep your young look! • Raw fruits and vegetables have the ability to flush your body of toxins. 2. You must exercise. This should be common sense but some people just do not understand common sense sometimes! Your body and mind needs exercise. This does not mean you have to lift heavy weights or run miles every day. It means simply stay active. Some things you can do are daily walks, dancing, house cleaning, or whatever it takes to keep your body moving! • The key to staying young is having a healthy heart; exercise adds strength to the heart. 3. Limit the alcohol you consume. While alcohol makes you feel good, it is dehydrating your body and damaging your liver. Your liver is what flushes the toxins from your body. So if you wish to stay looking young, do not drink or limit how much you drink. • One glass of red wine on occasion gives the body nutrients that will help to prevent heart attacks. So if you do want to drink occasionally, stick with the red wine. 4. Do not smoke. Smoking causes lung cancer and other diseases and everyone knows this. If you smoke, then you need to quit right away if you want to live a healthy long life. You need to stop now before it is too late. • Don’t quit alone. Joining a support group in your local community or online, you have a better chance of actually completing your quest of quitting. These people in the groups can keep you on the right track and will hold you accountable for your actions if you cheat. 5. Stay out of the sun. Yes, a suntan at first makes you look great, but over time it dries out your skin and adds wrinkles to your skin. This makes you look older. If that’s not enough to keep you out of the sun, then you should also bear in mind that too much sun tanning causes skin cancer too. • To stop aging from happening, stay away from the sun. Have pride in your complexion and pride in knowing when you’re older you’ll look better than those who tan regularly! 6. If possible, become a vegetarian. Many health experts have different views on whether red meat is bad or not. However, there are reports of people who stopped eating red meat feel better compared to the people who do eat it regularly. Try to limit the amount of red meat you eat if you cannot stop eating it. This will slow down the aging of your body. • A meatless diet will lower your cholesterol and puts you at a lower risk for developing heart diseases and diabetes. 7. Rid yourself of stress. Today everyone is stressed out and pressured daily from many. You need to stop and breathe once in a while. It’s a fact that stress adds years to your appearance. Yes, a stress-free life almost does not exist in today’s times; still you need to cut out as much as you can if you want to stay looking younger. • One way of reducing stress daily is taking time every day to have time for yourself or relax with friends or family.
