Accumulation of fats in your stomach can be a combination of genes and lifestyle choices. There's not much you can do about your heredity, but you can choose to lead a healthier lifestyle.

1. Exercise. You’ll probably hate it but moving around your house doing cardio and aerobic workouts will really help you lose your stomach fat. Exercise is the surest and healthiest way to lose a fat tummy.

2. Cleanse. This means you should include fiber in your diet so your belly can easily flush out fats and toxins. Besides fiber, you should drink a lot of water, so you’ll be hydrated. Start your day with a glass of water, as your body becomes somewhat dehydrated at night. This also promotes good digestion.

3. Lessen Stress. If you’re always stressed, you’ll feel more exhausted triggering you to eat more and exercise less. That’s why you need to eliminate stressful activities and keep yourself worry-free.

4. Eat small frequent meals. With small but frequent meals, you will be able to help your digestive system to metabolize food without starving yourself. Your body needs the fuel to burn fat. So starving your body by not eating multiple times per day, actually deprives it of the nutrients it needs, and accelerates weight gain.

5. Don’t skip meals. Skipping meals is not a good choice to make because this only helps you develop binge eating. Because you feel hungrier, chances are, you will be eating more giving your digestive system a hard time.

6. Lower or get rid of saturated fat. One of the reasons so many people are overweight in U.S., is they eat junk food loaded with saturated fat.

7. Lessen alcohol intake. If you are a partygoer and love to drink alcohol but want to lose stomach weight, you will need to cut back on alcohol consumption because this substance affects the liver’s capability to burn fat that slows digestion.
