Learn to love life and people as well – this is the number one secret to success in everything. Attitude is everything. Your attitude governs your altitude. Get your attitude up and your income will follow. Get your attitude down and your income will follow. 2.) Lean to love the good and the bad – your outlook on adversity and set backs as well as being able to accept the good things in life that are due to you is important if you want to keep a winning positive attitude. This is called developing patience. Nobody wants to do business with someone who is moody or crabby, so learn to love setbacks as well as success. 3.) Never criticize, condemn or complain - Always look for ways to give people genuine compliments. Never use cheap flattery because people see through it and resent it. Never criticize others. It only takes a fool to criticize and most fools do. Instead, look for things worthy of praise in everyone. Never talk negatively about someone behind their back because they will sense it and their shields will rise and you will lose sales. If you are a backbiter no one will trust you anyway. 4.) Learn something from all types of people – you can learn to be more successful and make fewer mistakes in life simply by carefully examining the lives of people around you. Just as the ambitious can inspire you, failures can teach you what NOT to do in life. 5.) Learn to an actor, not a reactor. How do you react when someone is rude to you or criticizes you? Are you quick to fly off the handle? Can someone easily pull your chain? Instead, become an actor. Ask yourself how you can answer someone’s mockery or criticism wisely. Become slow to anger. Always keep your cool. Don’t lose your posture. 6.) Get good at meeting and interacting with people – if you genuinely like people it will show. Realize that every person you meet is valuable. Each person you meet can either become a customer, a business team member or a link to an important business contact. 7.) Learn to love yourself – do all things in moderation. Treat yourself good. Learn to reward yourself for reaching your goals. Pick yourself up and dust yourself off when you fail realizing you just did something only successful people can do. Couch potatoes don’t fail at much. Feed your mind with good positive input. Share your knowledge with those who will accept it so it can help them as well. 8.) If you have no other qualities other than genuinely loving yourself and others as well you will succeed in business and in life – to have friends you must show yourself friendly. Learn to build friendships with others. Lift up others and you will be lifted up too. And treat yourself good too. Treat yourself with respect.
