Unstable angina symptoms occur when angina is not well controlled or undiagnosed. The keys to be able to avoid unstable angina symptoms are to seek medical consultation to identify the exact cause of your problem.nnAngina is common. It affects about 1 in 50 people and there are estimated to be 1.2 million people with angina in the UK. It is more common in men than women and the likelihood of it occurring increases with age. Angina also can occur in people with valvular heart disease, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (this is an enlarged heart due to disease) or uncontrolled high blood pressure.nnTypical symptoms of angina which can be brought on by exercise, physical exertion, a heavy meal, shock, anger, frustration and excitement and relived by rest are:nn• a pain felt behind the chest bonenn• a burning pain like indigestionnn• a heavy painnn• a squeezing pressurennThe most useful non-invasive tests for diagnosing early heart disease are:nn~Electrocardiogram taken while resting and during exercise,which measures electrical activity of the heart;nn~ Radioisotope studies,which are very useful in spotting inadequate blood flow in and around the heart;nnTo have a healthy heart, you need a healthy lifestyle. Plenty of water is essential; try to get 8-12 cups daily. Eat lots of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. Your heart can't run on empty, so get a high fiber diet to keep the blood supply running like it should. Also, get moderate exercise and maintain a healthy weight. Avoid the major enemies of your heart: alcohol, unhealthy fats, and tobacco smoke. Also, avoiding stress may result in major improvements for angina sufferers.nnSymptoms of angina pectoris:nn*shortness of breath,dizziness,nausea,vomitingnn*chest pain or discomfort that’s located in the center of the chest,under the breastbone and may spread down the left arm,or along the jaw line.The pain usually lasts between 30 seconds and 5 minutes.nnHeart disease symptoms in those suffering from mitral valve prolapse include ringing in the ears, and dizziness or brief periods of blacking out when standing suddenly. Mitral valve prolapse will cause blood to reverse course and flow back out of the heart momentarily, depriving the heart of sufficient blood volume to get oxygen to the brain and causing the dizziness or blacking out.nnNow that we have looked at what angina and heart disease is, let us look at how you could can look out for the signs that may lead to a diagnosis of angina or heart disease. Stable angina is quite hard to diagnose as it may present it's self when the person is being active, and it will then go away rather quickly at rest. Some of the activities that can lead to symptoms of angina are moderate participation of sport or exercise like walking, dancing, light exercise in the gym or even just climbing stairs. Some of the symptoms you may experience while being active are difficulty catching your breath, you may also have pains in your chest, arms and neck.nnThe best way to help lower cholesterol naturally is to avoid high-fat, high-cholesterol foods. When you eat is as important as what you eat. Eat your main meal of the day at lunch and have a light meal in the evening. Your body can't digest fat as efficiently at night as it can during the day.n
