So many people are being challenged by the turn in the economy – are you one of them? Many seem to have lost their way and are wondering where to find the answers to their problems. Well, I have found the key to solving life’s problems and I would like to it with you. Wouldn’t you like to be free from your financial worries and the accompanying stress?

I define success as freedom—freedom from financial worries, freedom to have positive relationships, freedom to do what you dream about, freedom to live where you want to live, freedom to experience your creator, freedom to create the conditions in your life that have the most meaning for you and freedom to realize your full potential. What I encourage you to do is to begin asking yourself some deep questions about what your freedom looks like and feels like.

Yesterday on the news, I heard 75,000 people were laid off in one day. It is very rough for those who are going through job loss. But even if you haven’t lost your job, you either know someone who has or the economic turndown is affecting you in some way. Since we are all connected, it is affecting all of us.

Many people ask me what should I do? Well I have found that there is really only one way to get through hard times. It is connecting deeply with Spirit. I am not talking about a Religious solution here; I am talking about a spiritual solution. The reason we need a spiritual solution is because you can’t solve your problems with your mind alone; you need to tap into the source of all solutions.

Are you a person who follows your intuition? Intuition is the ability to understand in a very profound way what your heart and spirit is telling you and it is key to success. Intuition has been overtaken these days by far too much rationality, too much mind analysis, so much so that many people today never take the time to ask themselves “How do I feel about this?” “What is my heart saying?” “What gut level feeling do I have about this particular direction in my life?”

Intuition brings you to self-trust, trusting yourself enough to know that the answers to your success are within you. Self-trust also has a lot to do with the thought habits we form and the will power we bring to translating our thoughts into action. Nothing undermines self-trust more than making a commitment to ourselves and setting goals, then not following through with it. During tough times, you may be tempted to stop setting goals. Setting and accomplishing goals may be the last thing you want to do, but it is the most important. It is important to keep focused and create forward momentum, no matter what the outside circumstances look like.

One way to help you set goals and keep your commitments to yourself and your success is to do things in small steps in the beginning. Decide upon an action that you can do at this very moment, and do it. No matter how small it seems, the very fact that you completed it increases the voice of intuitive guidance within you. You gain success one step at a time.

Another way to create success and create forward momentum is by asking the right question. If your life right now is not what you want it to be, ask yourself “What would my core beliefs have to be in order to create the current lifestyle I’m living?” This question will uncover negative beliefs such as “I’m not worthy”, “I can’t do that”, “I’ve failed before”, “I tried but I ended up losing my shirt”, “I’ll never succeed” —all these messages from the past that keep playing out in the present just below the surface of your mind, like a radio station you’ve turned down really low but still its murmurs persist in getting through to your psyche. I wrote a book to help you use the mind properly. It is called “Ask and You Will Succeed and you can get it at www.asksucceed.com.

Funny thing about failure, there are some wise mentors out there who say “increase your failure to increase your success”. That’s just a way of saying that if you’re not willing to risk failure, you’re not going to achieve success. Success means taking a chance on something, going for it, even if you’re not sure how it’s going to come out. Failure is not a negative. It’s merely a signpost to take a different direction.

There have been many times in my own life that I have lost jobs, lost relationships or tried something new in business that nobody had done before, and I failed. But I have been strengthened by my failures. I know today that all of us have what it takes inside of us to start over and over again, no matter what is happening. We are never failures as long as we try again. So if you are in a place where you could use some additional support to move past any disempowering beliefs, set a new course, and manifest your visions, then I suggest you go to www.greatestyear.com and get the support you need.n n You never succeed alone. It takes other people, combined with your own inner determination and your understanding of your own truest desires, to help you succeed. Know that whatever has knocked you down in the past doesn’t mean that you can’t get up in the future. There are more roads to your success than you ever dreamed possible.

Use the questions at www.greatestyearever.com get you there. Team up with your inner self so that you’re not always riding into the wind. Let your intuition, your self-trust, and your commitment to your own inner freedom carry you to success.
