What is going on out there?

What is going on out there in the world of the dollar movers?

It seems that nothing will halt the slide of the markets but I ask,

"Will it really make any difference in the end?"

Icebergs and ships simply simply don't mix well and we keep putting the two together and wondering at the reasons behind the Titanic's fate ??

We have seen this all before and all that seems to change is the names of the chess men on the board - we certainly don't seem to learn anything from the past!

We hear of the fundamentals but the fundamentals aren't driving this thing - it's all about emotion (and very likely the sale of news).

The true value of a company has nothing to do with the stock market and if we are to really believe our own press of the years gone by then we cannot have a substantial change in company value overnight if our people are our greatest asset because we would have to see a major change of our people overnight to reflect a change in real company value!

Let us get this thing behind us now before we all turn into eternal pessimists and talk our way to complete ruin.

There has never been a time when there was such a massive up-side potential but we have to be the ones to make the changes that will change the emotion and find that (seemingly elusive) way forward.

I am ready and wondering how many more optimists are out there ready to take up the call.

As a new approach I am taking the plunge on blogging - give me some feedback - let's get things going - I will understand if you are struggling to make sense of the whole mess but even if you are let me know and with the right will and the right approach we can get past this - I don't have all of the answers but I am sure they are out there.
