Most of us are more concerned what others think of us than what we think of our selves. This could explain why so many of us are following the wrong path which makes us unhappy.nnIf you took a minute to think about this then you would realize how imprisoned you actually are. So let's take a little look inside our selves and see if we can put our selves back on the right path.nnMost of us for years and years have been conditioned to please everyone else except our selves and those of us that do please our selves are known as selfish and self centered.nnWe are told to get a job, get married, get a mortgage and raise a family. And that's pretty much it until we die. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of happy times living this way and many of us are perfectly happy. My point is that we are TOLD to live this way. Be it very subtly but none the less this is the life that is mapped out for us and we accept it.nnWhat about those of us that want more? What if you want to think for your self instead of following Mr Jones next door? What if you had your own ideas and opinions, are you being selfish? Of course not. But I'm willing to bet someone thinks you are.nnAnd that's the problem. We care too much what other people think of us that we have lost touch with our true nature and our inner being . In reality if we focused on our own inner being, then not only would we be on the right path for us, we would also be much happier.nnIf we were happier then our nearest and dearest would be happier because a positive and happy attitude is contagious. Think about it, do you like being with someone who moans all the time? course not. One of the things I really hate is when you greet someone and out of politeness you ask them if they are OK. Immediately they launch into the most boring yarn imaginable which goes something like this "I don't feel very well this morning, I think I've got a cold coming and that's the last thing I need because I'm really busy at work and I can't afford to take time off because I've got to pay my mortgage". I bet you'd never be polite to that person again! But if you greeted someone else and asked if they were OK and they responded with " I'm fine thanks, how are you" (like you are supposed too) I bet you would be polite to them again because you got a positive attitude and you liked it.nnIf you learn to trust your own feelings, judgments, inner intuition, voice or what ever you want to call it and you stopped worrying what other people are thinking and doing then you will find your own path and your own happiness which is rightfully yours and only yours.nnFind your inner strength and you will be truly free to BE YOURSELF.
