Sensuality, like sexuality, involves all of our senses. The more sensuous we are, the nhealthier we are in our sexuality.

Healthy sexuality requires all of our senses to be fully engaged, including our heart—giving nsacredness to the act of lovemaking. To be sexually engaged from the heart is to be fully alive in our body and spirit. Interestingly, when we are completely present in our body, we transcend our body and experience how interconnected we truly are. To experience healthy sensuality and sexuality is to experience the ultimate in life’s joy and bliss. Sexuality holds a purpose greater than pleasure. It is the intimacy of a couple that fuels the union of their commitment and creates a realm for procreation, if that is their intention. n
I Have Learned n... that connecting sensuality and sexuality overrides the mental state of lust, transforming it into a sensuous, heartfelt, sexual, physical state. For me, sensuous sexuality is a presence of empowering vulnerability, surrendering, bliss, contentment, joy, expansion, and peacefulness. I experience a sensuous and sexual relationship with my partner as the ultimate in vulnerability and connection. It is the container for living intimately with another person. Healthy sensuality and sexuality requires my partner and myself to be open and fully committed to a loving, safe relationship. There is immense joy, promise, and freedom when a mutual connection is present, and a sense of heartbreak when it is absent.

The sense of aliveness that is generated by sensuality and sexuality creates an energetic spirit. How do you mirror healthy sensuality and sexuality? Enjoy your own sexuality and sensuality. See your beauty and bring it to your partner. See your npartner’s beauty and bring that beauty to your partner. See your partner mirroring your beauty and bringing it to you. Accept it lovingly and sacredly. It is your birthright to enjoy a healthy sensuous and sexual relationship with your partner. Sexuality without a heart connection is dissociation from yourself and your experience.
