In the big picture of your total body makeover whether you want to lose weight or gain energy, confidence or just look great setting goals to get there is essential.
First, let’s talk about your long-range goal, what the end look like. How do you want to look or feel when all is said and done? Really get a good feel for this. How much do you want to weigh? What size do you want to wear? How much energy do you want to have? How lean is your body? How tone? Is there someone you want to look like? Is your stomach flat? Does a part of your body have a certain type of definition?
Get specific. What does the energy do for your life? What would happen if you continue you on where you are and you don’t change?
Get leverage on yourself. How does this change yourself image? Your Confidence level? What changes will it make in your life? Write all of this down. Really dig.
Now stop. If you did not really get leverage on yourself and write down some really good solid changes above go back and do it NOW! Done? Don’t read this until you are. Feeling guilty?
Alright let’s move on. Now let’s break this down to easy steps. Let’s set some realistic small goals that you can reach.
First, if you want to lose weight lets set a weekly and monthly goal of a pound a week and 4 for the first month. Go on the internet find your BMI and set a realistic goal to change it. If you want to tone, set a realistic goal on that. Get a measuring tape. Measure your arms, chest, stomach, hips, thighs, calves and record it.
Set a goal for a month of changing the measurements. If you have access to body fat measurement that is an excellent goal to set as well.
Set goals of how many times a week you are going to strength train and stick to it same with your cardio training and diet. Add a new exercise routine to your goals like my boot camp at www.SimiBootCampOnline.Com. How much water you are going to drink per day?
