Got Attitude? Check Yours

What is your attitude? When I think of attitude most of the time I think of a person that is displaying a negative or unacceptable response toward a person, place, or thing. This is according to the “Lenses I view life through”. My lenses or worldview maybe different from yours because we all have a different perspective on life. I say, “tomato”, you may say “tomoto”, this maybe a result of our backgrounds: our childhood and adulthood experiences, the environments we were raised in: suburbs, inner city, or in a rural area of the country. Our traditions, values, customs, and beliefs could be different, too. Therefore, when I say that person has a bad, negative, or nasty attitude; and I do not like their response you may disagree. However, in your neighborhood that type of attitude maybe totally acceptable (positive) and the response maybe necessary to survive.

What is attitude? Well, it is our perception, feeling, and or disposition of a person, place, or thing. Our attitude could have been formed from our environment and life experiences. These two items are major contributing factors to our perception (reality). Attitude is a judgment call based on our beliefs, feels, etc. and from them we form our likes, dislikes, and display a positive or negative response towards a person, place, or thing.

Some of us have a fear of change so we may be resistant to starting a home-based business and we may say, “I already have a job”. Perhaps, from our past experience we felt the pain of failing as a business owner and we do not desire a repeat. Thus, our attitude towards learning how to make money online would be negative or perhaps that of apathy.

Our attitude can change. Sometime people have to deal with reality. The reality of the matter is people are losing jobs, daily. The unemployment rate is at an all time high and we have to ask ourselves, “why do I have this type of attitude? Other people are making money on the internet, why can’t I”?.
