While the answer to these questions could become rather complicated, the easiest way to answer them is by saying, "It depends which diet you can stick to for the long haul." By long haul, I mean for a lifetime. Although starving yourself may make you lose weight on the short term, you are almost guaranteed to gain all the weight back once you stop your diet. In order to be able to stick to a given diet, you need to be able to stick to it for life. This is only possible if your diet is filling and leaves you satisfied after every meal.nnEat less more oftennnThis may sound strange, but it is true that if you eat small snacks throughout the day as opposed to eating 3 big meals, you will actually feel full more often and eat less! This also has the added advantage of increasing your metabolism, so not only will you be eating less, but you will burn more as well! Not bad for an effective and fast weight loss program.nnMake realistic goals, and reward yourselfnnWhen you embark on your quest to lose weight, it is important to set realistic goals. If you set realistic goals you can consistently accomplish, you are more likely to stick to whatever dieting plan you choose. The keep to losing weight is sticking to it for the long haul.
