How Angels Can Help You When You’re Fearful

Since it’s that time of year when there’s a lot of talk about angels, I thought I would recount a remarkable story of help I received one time from the angels. nnThis is the time of year when angels are most visible with the holiday season upon us. We put angels on top of our Christmas trees, they’re pictured on greeting cards and spoken about in the re-telling of the story of baby Jesus being born.nnIn the past, I never really called on the angels for help because being raised Protestant, I thought the angels were for Catholics and not for me to call upon for help. On a subconscious level, I believed this until an EFT coach that I worked with a few years ago, help me to understand otherwise. I then read Doreen Virtue’s book on angels called, “How To Hear Your Angels”. In this book, Doreen talks about the Archangels and explains that they are non-denominational and they help anyone regardless of their religious or non-religious background. And because they are governed by different physical laws than any of us earthly beings, they can be in several places at once. So, you need not refrain from calling upon the angels for help for fear that they’ll be occupied with something more important. If you have a need that you think the angels can help you with, go ahead and ask for their help.nnAbout 6 months ago, I had an opportunity to really experience the help of one particular Archangel named Michael. Doreen Virtue explains that Archangel Michael is the angel “who releases the effects of fear from the planet and its inhabitants”. Going back to my story, I was in a situation that really unnerved me. I felt afraid and my “fight or flight” system had really kicked into gear, I was feeling this way for a couple of days. I knew logically that I was safe but I couldn’t shake the feeling even using EFT and ZPoint. Then, I had the inspiration to call upon the angels for help. I asked Archangel Michael to “cut the cords of fear from this situation” and although I didn’t sense any change in my feelings right away, I knew that my request had been heard. Then I carried on with doing things around the house that needed to be done and within about 30 minutes, I noticed that I felt very peaceful and content. I am convinced that Archangel Michael had answered my prayer.nnIf you’re feeling afraid due to the state of the economy, or announcements of impending lay-offs at your company, call upon Archangel Michael to cut the cords of fear around this situation and see what happens! Remember that when one door closes, another one opens. That is always the way if you keep your eyes open and are receptive to your own inner wisdom. If you are in a state of “fear” however, you will have difficulty seeing the opportunities all around you and hearing your own inner guidance system. So, call upon the angels to help you clear you fear!
