I was fortunate enough to have the life changing opportunity to meet Bill Phillips a few months ago at Mark Victor Hansen’s Mega Book Marketing event in Los Angeles. You may know Bill as the author of Body for Life and former owner of EAS. n
At the event, Bill Phillips put a Transformation challenge out to the authors in the audience. As a result of that "challenge", I recently wrapped up a 12-week Transformation challenge with a group of moms by putting my book, The Hot Mommy Next Door, to the test once more. As a result of the Transformation challenge, the moms that participated collectively lost over 100 pounds and counting! Their commitment to themselves and the process is an inspiration.
I view the success of the moms that participated in the challenge as my success and I am greatly rewarded knowing that their lives have been transformed in a number of ways that will transcend the twelve weeks we spent together.
It is important to note that everything that has happened to me in terms of the opportunities I've been presented with, the people I've met, the places I've been, the projects I've taken on, and the change I have affected in other people's lives is all the result of me choosing to "be the change." I live a more passionate and inspired life as a result that is full of meaning and purpose. It is an honor to contribute to the universe on a deeper level and by doing so I stay connected and grounded.
Here are three tips to help you "be the change" you would like to see happen in the world! n
Tip #1:Committ Yourself: You need to first commit yourself to being the change you wish to see and immediately begin to serve as an inspiration and support to those around you that you wish to affect change in.
Tip #2: Take a Look Around: You need to take notice of what is happening in the world around you in order to get clear on your vision of what kind of change you would like to affect.
Tip #3: Make a Conscious Choice: Choose actions that create positive change and lead by being a living example of the change you wish to see.
