Our minds can't tell the difference between real experience and one that is vividly and repeatly imagined. n

"The will to win is everything"n - legendary Green Bay Packers football coach, Vince Lombardi.
Examples of Wilma Rudolf (see my book on sport psychology "The Winning Mind") and in business, look at the amazing global growth of Mcdonalds. Winners work hard at doing the things the majority of people don't like to do. n
Finally,
10. The seed of perspective. Be a
"seed thrower", a giver, who touches lives and makes a ndifference, living each moment with love, grace and especially ngratitude. The treasure is within you...so live a life of celebration. n
May each of you grow strong and healthy in your nown way. May you reach for the sky...nas the only ceilings to your growth are your own imaginations.
"I do not choose to be a common man.
It is my right to be uncommon -nif I can.
I seek opportunity, not security.
I do not wish to be a kept citizen, nhumbled and dulled by having nthe state look after me.
I want to take the calculated risk, nto dream and to build, to fail and nto succeed.
I refuse to barter incentive for a dole.
I prefer the challenges of life to a nguaranteed existence, the thrill of nfulfillment to the stale calm of Utopia.
I will not trade freedom for beneficience, nnor dignity for a handout.
It is my heritage to think and to actnfor myself, enjoy the benefit of my ncreations, and to face the worldnboldly and say,
'With God's help, this I have done'." n- Dean Alfange
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking;nso that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously ngive other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear, nour presence automatically liberates others."n- Marianne Williamson
I love these beautiful and inspiring words, as uttered by former South African President Nelson Mandela in his Inaugeration speech of 1994. I have admired and respected 'madiba' for many years - for his "immense generosity, graciousness and nobility of spirit")...and am sharing an additional thought or two...
"Deep within us there is a flame that burns, and that flame is the spark of God. In some it burns brightly, in others it is barely distinguishable; but always it burns...and with love and acceptance the flame gets higher and brighter. We can help others to kindle this flame by seeing the good in them, even if they don't see it themselves."n-anonn
Edwin Hubbel Chapin once said, "Every action of our lives touches onnsome chord that will vibrate in ete
ity." That is the definition of anlegacy. Wouldn't you love to do something that might strike anbeautiful chord that will "vibrate in ete
ity"?
