Money goals can be a worthwhile pursuit when sought after properly. However, a lot of times seeking money directly can be the wrong goal. In some circumstances this may not be true, but from my own experiences and watching others pursue income goals, failure has met us 99.9999 percent of the time.nnIf you are like me five years ago, money always seemed to slip through my fingers or completely pass me by. “Why does this always happen to me?” Was a persistent question of mine day in and day out. Deep down inside I knew that I deserved the money and anything else in life. However, what was keeping me from my success?nnI didn’t find that answer until I started evaluating my thoughts, beliefs, and actions. I remember the day when I was fed up with being broke. Whatever I was doing then, wasn’t working. So, I figured, why not try something new? What’s the worst that can happen? That new thing meant stop manipulating outside circumstances and work on improving myself.nnIn this article, I am going to share with you four reasons why money goals fail.nn1. Lack of Service or Providing ValuennThe amount of money you earn is in direct correlation to your consciousness. When you're not providing any real value to the world, you’re pretty much mooching off everyone and trying to get something for nothing. Have you ever heard the expression “He’s a real go-getter.” That expression is wrong! You want to have a go-giving attitude. We live in an orderly Universe and you only get back what you put into life. Picture life like a boomerang. When you toss a boomerang, what happens? It always comes back to you! Likewise, when you put out great energies such as: giving, service, contribution, hope, inspiration, love, etc. etc., you will receive great energies in return. Give value in greater quantity and quality, and you will receive more money. nn2. Having Vague Money GoalsnnWhat do you think is more direct and probable of reaching?---A straight line from A to B? Or a zigzag, squiggly line (that’s a technical term) from A to B? Obviously, a straight line from A to B. Money goals are much the same way. Being specific means having an exact money figure you want to earn and what you’re willing to give in return for that money. When you’re vague and taking the zigzag approach by saying, “I want more money,” one dollar more is more money!nnWhat I’m getting at is it’s important to have a clear and specific money intention. All money goals will fail if they are not specific, measurable, and timely. You may get something at the end of your goal, but it may be completely opposite of what you intended.nnWhen you are not specific on what you’re going after, you create confusion. Being specific will manifest specific outcomes. Being vague will manifest confused outcomes. Remember this---Spirit awaits specific direction from the soul!nn3. Money Doesn’t Solve Problems---It Magnifies ThemnnA lot of people think that money solves all or most of their problems. So, what they do is go right after the money and focus on how can I get more?Remember the boomerang effect in number 1? Well, with just as much importance, money is a magnifier and having more money will only magnify who you are. If you’re selfish, stressed, angry, and a drama queen, you’ll become more selfish, stressed, angry, and a bigger drama queen with more money! Here’s an example, “When I have more money I’ll share more, give more, be happier, and have no problems.” No you won’t! If you’re not a giver and a happy person now, you will never be a happier person in the future. nnLet’s say you want to earn one million dollars. Having that amount of money will create one million dollars worth of challenges. Who do you think is a bigger person? Someone earning $15,000 per year? Or, someone earning $500,000 per year? The answers is the person earning $500,000 per year. It takes a bigger, bolder, and action oriented risk taker to earn $500,000 per year compared to $15,000 per year. nnThe point is-----you don’t want the money! You want to become the person that a specific amount of money brings you. For example, you want to become a world-wide entrepreneur as a real estate developer. You intend earning $500,000,000 as a real estate developer in your lifetime. In order to do that, you have to become a bigger risk taker, take on greater challenges, act and live like a multi millionaire, have bigger friends, and think successfully. That’s the real reason you want to earn $500,000,000, it’s to live and experience a fantastic journey. That journey is experiencing all of the riches, wealth, health, and peace of mind. Money is a tool, it’s a tool to help you express your creative self, give more, contribute to others, and have a greater capacity to ease elegantly through life. nn4. Lack Of WorthinessnnOne of the main reasons on why we don’t get what we intend on getting is because most of us have a deep seeded feeling of I’m not worthy. Having money, wealth, health, and toys will never come to us in abundance unless we feel that we are worthy of everything we desire. Lack of worthiness is one of the biggest human dilemmas. I believe it is a collective conditioned belief from the time we were born.nnLets face it, we were brought up to measure our experiences through the physical senses: smell, touch, feel, hear, and taste. While our physical senses can direct and help us at times, most of the time they hold us back from our true potential.nnAchieving our money goals heavily relies on our belief system. Our dominate beliefs are most likely formed through our five senses. When we believe that we’re meant to be average or not meant to be as rich as we want, our belief will create the fact. Most of our actions come from deep seeded, unconscious thinking. Our unconscious is what drives our daily actions. When you believe you can’t do something, what mostly likely happens? You either don’t take the action or you fail trying.nnWhen you have a desire and strongly believe you can have what you’re going after, you are going to succeed as long as you keep that desire strong. I believe this is what Jesus meant when he said, “Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Jesus is trying to tell us that our current circumstance is the result of our past thoughts and actions. Freedom is found within (the Kingdom) ourselves and not in the physicality of the world.nnStop evaluating your experiences through your five senses and take control of your thoughts! The best way to do this is to see yourself already in possession of the money you desire!
