For as long as I can remember, I have loved to “observe” people. We are fascinating creatures.

Throughout a great business career, and being people orientated, I have seen humans around the world in all colours, shapes and sizes. There are issues shared by all, and “TRUST ISSUES” are universal.

The Big Book of AA was written by alcoholics primarily for alcoholics, but much of what can be learned from this best seller, including the “12 Steps” is great learning for ALL people, and is incorporated as part of our coaching process, the “CO-Creative Theory of Life Recovery”. The difference between the addicted and the non-addicted is simply that the addicted escaped problems through mood altering substance or behaviour and couldn’t stop, non-addicted people have the same problems, often use the same mood altering acts, but can stop.

The problems, and learning how to deal with them in a healthy way, are generally the same for both groups.

Today I have the good fortune to work with others exclusively as the focus of my life.

More than ever, I see “Trust” as an issue for many of the clients and “sponsees” I am blessed with having as a part of my life!

The 12/12 says: n“I trusted no one. I was very sure I could control my drinking by myself.

I was convinced my intelligence would be enough.

I looked in the mirror and discovered where my self-will had taken me.

I surrendered.

I began to trust AA, my Higher Power, and our blessed Fellowship.
