In experiments with water and plants, people have played rock and roll music and then classical music and compared the results. With water, Dr. Masaru Emoto freezes the water and then observes the crystals. The water crystals have a beautiful symmetric pattern in response to classical music and are an ugly mess with the heavy metal music. The words “Adolf Hitler” were taped around a glass of water, with the same outcome.
Experiments with plants have shown similar results.

These experiments are sometimes cited as 'proof’ that Adolf Hitler and rock and roll are ‘bad’, and that classical music is ‘good.’ But these conclusions, while validly showing that consciousness can affect the environment around the experimenter, are erroneous.

A recorded piece of music surely contains life force energy, the energy and intent of the musicians that made it. Similarly for a series of words written on a piece of paper. However, the life force energy contained in a recording or on a piece of paper is trivial compared to the life force energy of the person or persons conducting the experiment! It would be like comparing the gravitational attraction of the earth to that of a tennis ball. The consciousness and intent of a living being performing the experiment in Now time is many orders of magnitude greater than a recording of an event.

So it is the intent of the experimenter which more greatly influences the outcome, not the media used in the testing. Dr. Masaru Emoto does not like Adolf Hitler or rock and roll music, and does like classical music. So that is how the experiment turns out. (It need not be said that Adolf Hitler is dead, so Adolf Hitler cannot affect anything.) If someone who loved rock and roll and hated classical music were to perform the experiment, different results would be obtained! If someone who understands that Adolf Hitler was/is an aspect of God, were to perform the experiment, there would be a different, more positive result. n

Classical music is not ‘good’ and rock and roll is not ‘bad.’ Both are a pattern of vibration. That pattern of vibration will be interpreted differently by different people. That is what makes life interesting. If 25 people observe an event, there will be 25 different accounts of it. And so while experiments of the kind described above are important, attention must be paid to the validity of the conclusions of the experimenter. Because all things in existence are part of a universal field of consciousness/energy, everything in existence is conscious on some level, and is in communication. It is not a surprising statement then to say that the intent of an experimenter can affect the outcome of an experiment. Results like the ones mentioned above are proof of that, and so are very important.

But care must be taken not to tar and feather those things which are not deemed worthy by the person performing the experiment!

Personally, I like both classical and rock and roll music. I don't think the plant or the water judges whether the vibrations of either are good or bad. My observations of life tell me that judgment is a human affliction! However, if the human conducting the experiment has strong opinions either way, his or her energy may have a big effect on the plant, or the water.

It reminds me of the vacuum cleaner salesman. He comes around with a ‘Filter Baron’ and does a demonstration, vacuuming a piece of your carpet with your old vacuum, placing a white cloth inside the ‘Filter Baron’ and then vacuuming again. When the cloth is removed, dirt can be seen all over it. But no one ever asks him to perform the experiment in reverse!

All things are conscious on some level and so all things are interconnected. Judgment of what is good or bad, or right or wrong, is a personal preference, and that is what these sorts of demonstrations show.
