It seems like such an unreal process to simply think of what you want and manifest it in your life. How could life be that simple, doesn’t it seem fraught with complications on the everyday level? Surely such powers of manifestation reside with the gurus, monks and religious people, the ones with the time to spend days in meditation and contemplation, the wise ones.
Yet in what seemed to be just a moment in my life I began to realize my own power of manifestation. I live a hectic lifestyle, always trying to find time for my business, my horses, my dogs, and most of all - my husband. I have read and listened to many spiritual teachings on my journey and then it seemed like all of a sudden a very simple process unfolded for me.
First, someone said “Think back to a time, as far back as you need to go, when you were just purely happy”. This is not an easy task and I spent some time thinking about it. Finally, I remembered that the times in my life when I was the most simply happy were when I was with the horses.
Second, and not long afterwards, I thought “I wish I had a talent that would enable me to make a living around the horses”. Most importantly, I made the wish and just let go of all emotional attachments to it. In fact, I forgot about it. Six months later I was running a boarding stable and living on the property, with the horses.
When I realized what had happened, remembering the thought processes leading up to the manifestation of my wishes, I realized that I could use the same process to create anything!
Next, I wished for a small factory where I could blend my aromatherapy products, on the property. The only building that was suitable we had rented out to a fellow and I didn’t want to “evict” him to fulfill my wishes. I believe that when you hurt someone else in the pursuit of your dreams the energy is lost and your manifestation is not pure. It was a couple of years before the fellow in the cabin moved out on his own journey and we made the decision to use the space for a factory.
Since that time I have come to visualize and manifest countless things and situations in my life. My journey continues with one more important key. I notice I am unable to manifest anything that I don’t believe I deserve…..or don’t believe that I can achieve. Through the process of manifestations I am raising the bar slowly. Every time I realize a new dream, big or small, I find that I believe in myself a little bit more. The wonder of the universe takes over and I internalize, deep down in my core, the knowledge that we are all children of the universe and we all deserve the abundance it has to offer.
I have also realized that I need to be careful what I think about because it often manifests very quickly and in surprising ways. Harmony is happening around me and the things (and sometimes the people) that don’t fit with that harmony disappear from my life effortlessly. Everyday is an exciting adventure, I just never know what to expect next.
Finally, I believe it is vitally important to live in gratitude for all the wonders and gifts of the world. Some days it takes a bit of time to find something to be grateful for, but the practice of daily gratitude is all important.
