Money Saving Tricks

When it comes to money saving I see it as simply cutting down on the non-essential things in life.nnHowever, there is one things that we can all cut out of our monthly expenditure's but it's still very much "essential":nn- Our gym membership / exercise budget.nnOk, now here, I do need a favour from everyone reading: Don't tell my employer (I work in a gym), but I am not a big fan of gyms!! I would much rather see you exercising outside, getting some fresh air, and spending some time communing with nature!nnNot only will you save lots of money doing this - gym memberships can cost anything from £40 to £100+ in some places - but you will also get the following benefits:n

• Fresh air - Gyms are full of toxic chemicals, man made plastics, and industrial cleaners.n
• Sunlight - Vitamin D deficiency is one of the biggest problems we face nowadays, especially in winter. Exercising outdoors can solve this.n
• Time spent with nature - Depending on where you live, you can get to see some particularly beautiful sights while exercising, rather than the same sweaty bloke on the treadmill in front of you!n
• Fun - Exercising outdoors is typically much more fun than working out indoors.n

nPersonally I don't train in gyms for all of the above reasons, I always try to get outside, and even when the weather is not being too kind to me I'll train in my own living room and save myself the expense of paying for a gym membership.nnWhen you are working out in nature you can find some steps to run up, trees to climb, rocks/stepping stones to navigate, beautiful woodlands to run/cycle through, logs to lift, hills to hike up, obstacles to jump over...
