My New Year’s resolution for 2009 was to finally find a boyfriend and decided not to be alone on New Year’s Eve again. You might think what it has to do with money but wait.
I went trough my bookshelf to get the best book How to improve relationships in my case to meet somebody. I found an audio tapes “Open your heart to men” I bought couple months ago in charity shop. So I listened to them couple times and it did change my attitude towards men and relationships and I got one really big realisation.
We need to be open to something in order to receive it. I finally understood that all the time I have been trying to keep my heart closed as I didn’t want to be hurt again or something. I haven’t found a boyfriend yet as now I am busy opening my heart to money. Men can wait.
Today’s credit crunch is the best time to practice as we can see all over the world lots of people are closing to receive. They are holding tighter to what they have that they don’t realise how they are not letting anything to get to them either. Many people are complaining about lack of money and don’t see that just by opening up they will receive more.
I have been afraid all my life of losing something that I was holding so tight what I had and didn’t realise that I was actually killing it and didn’t let anything new coming in. I struggled financially as long as I remember myself; I had lots of negative believes regarding money and didn’t even know that I have so many. You don’t want in your house people you don’t like. What do you do when unwanted guest arrives or somebody you don’t like calls and asks for a visit? Think about it.
The same is about money. Money is like that guest who you are inviting in your life or avoiding and sometimes you don’t notice it. Why would money go to you or me if we think negative thoughts about it? If I was money I would do that. I don’t want to visit people who don’t like me; I would be out of that place in 5 minutes and probably will never go back.
You can apply this to anything you want to attract in your life. That is how Law of Attraction works. You have to want it to come to your life with all your being.
Money is like anything else in this world but we attach so strong meaning to it that it becomes like most important thing to us. What would you do with million $ on the Moon? What would you do with million $ in a boat in middle of ocean and there is nobody to rescue you or in the middle of Sahara desert? You might think what a chance I have to get into such a situation but that just shows that money is not everything. There are some more important things. I agree that you need money to live good life in our times. What I am trying to say is don’t put responsibility on money to make you happy; take responsibility to make money. Let go attachment of money, let it go. Money doesn’t like to be in clingy relationship like humans don’t like it (some do).
There is really nice saying about love. Love is like a bird, if you hold it too tight it will die and if you let it go it will fly away. If it returns it will be yours forever. Isn’t it nicely said?
The same applies to money and everything else. Open your arms it is gesture of giving and taking. Let’s it flow freely and welcome it into your heart.
