Identifying a panic anxiety attack symptom or symptoms can help play an important role in understanding and overcoming panic and anxiety. Informing yourself, researching and understanding what's happening can play it's part in reducing your worries.nnThere are many of these symptoms and not all will apply to you, although a few probably will. Don't be alarmed even if many do apply. It doesn't mean you're in bigger trouble or it's harder to overcome.nnPanic Or Anxiety Attack Symptomsnn - feeling dizzy or lightheadednn - chest pains, difficulty breathing or feeling you can't get enough airnn - rapid or irregular beating of your heartnn - trembling or shakingnn - immense terror, fear of dying or going crazynn - lump in your throat, choking sensation or difficulty in swallowingnn - sweatingnnIn addition, you could also feel nausea, feeling a sense of doom, hot or cold flashes, tingling sensation in your fingers and toes and distorted vision.nnYou may also experience tummy troubles, nightmares, a dramatic increase in senses (particularly in sound and sensitivity to light) and shoulder and neck pain.nnDepersonalization and derealization can also be experienced. As interesting as this may sound to most people, it can also be very disturbing. It is a symptom of anxiety and is so unbelievable and unreal.nnA person may feel like they're in a dream state or trance. They may feel like they're in a fog, disembodied or 'spaced-out'. Don't tell a sufferer that it's "cool" to feel this way. nnWhat Can You Do?nnLuckily, there are many things you can do to feel better. It will probably require you to be patient and work at it. Patience and hard work may not be at the top of your agenda, but please do try.nnThe obvious thing is to see your doctor. Cognitive behavioral therapy along with medication is quite effective. You have many other options, depending on you and your situation.nnYou could try hypnosis, yoga, proper abdominal breathing, programs like Panic Away and The Linden Method, natural products like PureCalm, Anxius or MindSoothe. nnThere are many others, but change takes time.nnIf you have even one panic anxiety attack symptom, please try to deal with it quickly. Dragging it on will be like a dark cloud constantly hovering over you. There are many ways to feel better. nnYour progress may be quick or slow. It's great if it's quick, but hang in there if it's slow. It will happen. Stay focused and don't give up. As hard as it may be, you are stronger than you think.
