Most people would be surprised to learn that there are more life forms on the Earth that live as parasites than there are life forms that live otherwise. Parasites feed off of our immune system via the foods we eat, and interfere with our blood supply and lymphatic system. Depriving us of our vitamins, minerals, amino acids and the like become their purpose when we become their host. They can damage our digestive tract, burrow holes in our organs and infiltrate our brain, lungs and heart causing havoc in unrealized proportions. Parasites and worms in an infected person can cause Unclear thinking, Gas, Bloat, IBS (irritable bowel syndrome), Ulcerated colitis, Chronic Fatigue, Fibromyalgia, Allergies, Toxicities etc.

Americans in general avoid this topic, and consider proper food storage, preparation and sanitation alone to be the guarantee against the “Invasion Infestation.” A common belief system amongst the civilized world is that parasites are only prevalent in 3rd world countries. This is a gross misconception…. they are considered an epidemic here in the United States. According to The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), 90% of all U.S. inhabitants have been reported with the microscopic, single-celled parasite family known as “Protozoan.” America needs to wake up to the fact that they too are potential hosts of these creatures, and are at risk daily. Round Worms (Ascaris Lumbricoides), Hookworms (Necator Americanus, Ancylostoma Duodenal), Pinworms (Enterobius Vermicularis), Dog Heartworm and Cat Roundworm (Toxocara Canis, Toxocara) along with Intestinal Fluke (Fasciola Hepatica), are just a few examples, of the 200+ species that impact our civilized population.

From the child who walks in the grass without shoes… to the social New Yorker who favors eating out to home cooked meals - none of us are immune. Occurrences and possibilities of infestation affect us all. Restaurant dining, and foods prepared by non-hygienic chefs and servers’ falls into a category called “cross contamination,” where by symptoms, diagnosed improperly, manifests themselves with mimicking common ailments and flue-like illnesses throughout the year.
