Smart Women Make Great Choices

Do you have a hard time making decisions? When given a choice of A,B,C, and D---can you choose easily? I ask this question because I have found that having to make choices can sometimes be paralyzing for many of us.

I was having dinner recently with a small group of friends and the waiter had to keep coming back to our table as people could not make a decision on their dinner choices---house salad or Caesar? Steak or Chicken, Rice or Baked potato? We become fearful about making decisions, even simple ones, as we want to make the “perfect” choice.

Our Country allows us many choices. We can do just about anything we choose to do if it’s something that we truly want. Why do so many of us stay right where we are? I believe it’s fear. Fear of taking the Risk---Ahhh, there it is again---Risk. Fear of the unknown. We want a guarantee that our choice will be exactly the right one for us.

There have been times in my life when I “sat on the fence” of choice. And I sat there and I sat there. Then I figured out the 3 E’s in making choices: Explore, Evaluate and Execute. I explore my possible choices, I evaluate which one is a good fit for me and my lifestyle, and then I execute a plan to make it happen.

ia, as well as many other states across the country, we get to choose who we personally would like to lead our great nation into the next phase of where we are going. It does not matter which choice you make. What matters is that you choose.
