Pregnancy is a time of happiness and anxiety for both the mother and father. Family, friends and relatives all gather around to congratulate the couple. It is often hard to tell about a new pregnancy. The pregnant woman may get mixed signals about the symptoms of her pregnancy especially if it is her first time. There are many questions wondering her mind throughout the entire pregnancy time and couples often have aroused tensions due to unawareness of certain facts and figures associated with the pregnancy.

If you are a couple and are expecting a baby, the first signs of the pregnancy start as early as one to two days after conception. As soon as the mother conceives the baby, the symptoms start to appear. Symptoms like fatigue, headache and nausea are common examples of experiences as felt by the mother. However, these are very common feelings and experiences and usually can be caused by other illnesses as well. There is really one way to be sure and that is a home pregnancy test. However, a home pregnancy test can often show negative until unless one week has passed after a missed period. In some cases though, a missed period cannot truly represent a pregnancy especially if your periods are irregular or you are unaware of the exact date of your periods.

Vaginal bleeding for 10 – 11 days after conception is also not very uncommon among many women. A change in behaviour and a dislike for certain previously liked aromas is also not uncommon. Another important symptom might be a sudden incline in the body temperature for as long as 18 days after the conception. The cause of such temperature increase is still unknown but that is usually accompanied by headaches, crams and vomiting. This is usually attributed by many with the hormonal changes going on inside the body however true cause is still unknown. You should use a home pregnancy test at least one week after the date of missed period and if the result is positive, you are surely pregnant.

When a mother conceives a baby, it is also linked to soaring and swelling of nipples which result in pre-period like feeling. A mother usually feels exhausted and dizziness throughout the day without any particular reason. Tightening of clothes around the waistline is another sign of conception and pregnancy. The rapid discharge of progesterone hormone results in body temperature increase and a heightened appetite as well. During the pregnancy, a mother may field a rapid change in behaviour and likeliness for certain things. Fr example at one time she might feel like eating ice cream and at another point she might hate it. This is all due to the hormonal changes accompanied by body changing.

A pregnant woman might also experience lack of attention and anxiety. Certain exercises and medication can help cure any such signs. A complication in pregnancy can also be caused by any untreated symptoms. In the case of a normal r complicated pregnancy, it is best to consult a qualified obstetrician in the UK.
