You can have it all! It is all about finding the right balance that works for you. Below are the Top 7 Secrets that are essential to effectively maintaining clarity when your plate is full.
1. Identify Your “WHY”
Being absolutely clear on “why” you are running your business is essential to maintaining focus and keeping your sanity! Your “why” needs to come from deep down and have meaning attached to it. Everyone has a different “why” (for some it is for the money, or a passion, seeking another role, or to create more quality family time, etc.). There are no right or wrong answers, but once you identify “why” you do what you do, utilize that clarity in times when things get overwhelming! Purpose is powerful!
2. Create Your Rhythm
Everyone talks about the importance of balancing the roles of motherhood and being an entrepreneur, but if you think about it in terms of “rhythm” it may appear more feasible. It is all about establishing a routine and finding the flow that works for you. This is important to remember. You need to find what works best for you! You have to take all of your own unique circumstances and occurrences into account and create your rhythm accordingly. Too often people attempt to put into play what works for someone else and then wonder why their results are not the same. Examine your individual daily events as exactly that, unique to you, and you will be able to establish an effective way to keep your rhythm in flow!
3. Maintain Focus
It is so easy to get caught up in the day to day hustle and bustle that individuals often forget where they are going. Establishing crystal clear short term, medium term, and long term goals is essential to not only knowing where you are going, but also staying on track. You will definitely experience bumps in the road and detours along your journey, but when you know your destination, you provide yourself with a purpose, and that is what is going to give you the drive to keep going.
4. Express Gratitude
Take time each and every day to express gratitude for the numerous blessings that currently encompass your life. It is so easy to harp on the things you do not have or what is not going your way. When you acknowledge all of the things to be grateful for in your life, you give off that positive vibration of gratitude through everything else you do, which results in an attraction of more things to be grateful for.
5. Be the Leader
Have confidence in yourself and in your decisions! Take action and reap the rewards!
There are plenty of people who have knowledge that would be beneficial for you to utilize, and it is important to seek out such resources when necessary. Ultimately, take charge yourself, move forward with confidence and success will follow!
6. Take Time For Yourself
It is so easy to forget about yourself or put yourself last on the list when your plate is full. More often then not, moms express a feeling of “selfishness” when they take time for themselves. The key point to remember is that if you are not putting yourself on the top of your list, then essentially you are not able to be the best possible you for your family or your business. Schedule time for yourself just as if you had an appointment, and use that time in whatever fashion allows you to reconnect with your inner self.
7. Live Your Life
Do what makes you happy! What good is any of this if you never enjoy the pleasures in life? You were put on earth to enjoy yourself. You need to remember to not take things so seriously and ultimately go out there and live life on purpose!
