Fat loss can be full on hard work and if not approached correctly, it can be debilitating and depressing. Sounds harsh, but it is the truth. So many people that I have been around and listened to, have all expressed how they swung between this diet and that diet. They would get a great start on a particular fat loss program, they would even talk proudly about how they lost 10lbs, but then as sure as anything, the weight would slowly begin to creep back on. But what if you knew the foods that you could eat and enjoy and these very foods would also aid your desired fat loss?
These foods are not a secret. They are not exotic and unattainable, they are available to most, if not all of us, and these are the foods we should be filling our diets with. Yet today, when we understand more than ever about our bodies, our diets and the way that we live, too many of us refuse to incorporate these foods in significant amounts, into our daily diets.
Look at eating more dark green vegetables. Really they are at the top of the fat loss aid tree. Think broccoli, green beans, spinach cabbages. These are the some of the best foods that you should freely incorporate into your diet if you want to drop the fat and keep it off.
Nuts are great for anyone who is looking to boost the protein in their diet. Peanuts are plant based and so do not contain cholesterol. They also are light on the saturated fat that is found in the animal centred protein that many of us routinely include in our diets. The current thinking is that we need to include a higher level of unsaturated fats into our diets and peanuts fit perfectly into that roll.
Fruits are a great ready to go packed snack. Get yourself a hand full of a variety of fruits for lunch at least three or four times a week and not only will your dentist love you, but your body will begin to show the benefits as you begin to burn off the ugly fat.
It may all seem obvious, but how many of us know this and yet still we fill our bodies with harmful foods, that clog our arteries and invade our bodies with equally harmful bugs and pesticides? Sometimes all that is necessary is for the information to be presented in a black and white manner for it to sink in. Eating the wrong foods, in the wrong amounts is slowly killing you!
