I look upon the many faces of God,

And in each one is the Holy Breath.

Within each one shines the spark of divinity.

His hands lie invisibly

Resting upon each shoulder.

He has written us upon the palms of

His hands.

Within each form is the perfect seed ofnnperfection,

Waiting to blossom and grow.

The Lord has as many faces

As there are grains of sand,

Drops of water in the ocean,

Shifts of wind through the air,

Flames of fire to heat and destroy.

His light is behind each one of our faces.

Some shine bright as a million stars,

Some are glowing even at night,

Each one's existence dependent on the ete
alnnlife within.

As we look at the many faces of God,

Remember, we are looking at ourselves,

Because as God is, we are... one.

Oneness. United. Ete
ally One.

THE HUMAN FAMILYnby Merry C. Battles

Here we are on one planet.

Living together, searching for peace.

Our brothers and sisters are with us.

All nations and peoples with One God.

How can we progress and maintain a highe
nevolution?

By willingness to cooperate and lessons of love.

We live in this tiny speck of the universe.

We are one of the billions and billions of sunsnnand stars.

Our little planet with its vast beauty andnnharmonies of nature

Can shine as our sun reflects the greater God.

How can we live in brotherhood, humanity?

What will it take to express the Divine?

Our steady, unceasing belief that there is

One God, one planet, one people

To fulfill our destiny of love and peace.nncopyright2009 Merry C. Battles
