So you've had the best idea for a business. You tell your friends, and they agree that it sounds genius. But then you simply go on with life as if you'd never had the idea. There is something wrong with this picture. If you have had a great idea, then you need to act on it, and start up your business. nnThis is not a good situation. Therefore when making all financial and business decisions, you should discuss it with people you trust, and ask for the advice of anyone who is more experienced than you. Marketing is the most important way to drive clients to your business. It could be a mistake, and it could change your life for the better. You will never know until you give it a try. To start a business, you first need to have the capital. This initial investment needs to be enough to get your business up and running long enough to start turning over a profit. nnUnless you have a rich relative, you'll have to take out a business loan. Banks provide business loans for entrepreneurs all of the time. All you have to do is convince them that your idea is a worthwhile investment. Write up a business plan, and make it as professional as possible. Then, present it to the bank and ask for the loan. From there, all you can do is trying more banks, wait, and cross your fingers. Once you have the business loan, you'll have to proceed with caution. Do whatever is necessary to establish your business, but don't do anything that you will regret. If you don't profit because of a stupid mistake, then you are still stuck with paying back the business loan. This is not a good situation. nnTherefore when making all financial and business decisions, you should discuss it with people you trust, and ask for the advice of anyone who is more experienced than you. Do whatever it takes - from a feature in the newspaper, to flyers around town, to promotional giveaways. Just get your name on the radar when you start, and much of your work will be done for you. Businesses are tough to start, and as such there have been hundreds of books full of advice on how to do so. nnYou will never know until you give it a try.
