Universal Energy

I would like to introduce you to the qualities of Universal Energy so that you may begin to develop your personal connection or relationship with Source. One big misconception is that Source energy is one thing; but in fact, it is actually made up of many aspects. There are three primary forms of energy that emanate from Source; they can be thought of as mind, spirit, and physical energy, for lack of better terms.

Mind energy can be conceived of as "consciousness", spirit energy is life-giving, as in the "spark of life", and physical energy can be conceived of as "matter" or "form". The three forms can also be personalized into the Divine Father, Divine Mother, and Divine Son. However, it is important to know that these are not religious terms, and do not correspond to any particular belief system. They are universal concepts, and as such, help us to understand how Universal Energy works.

Mind energy, or consciousness, has a creative function. It creates thought, which is a beginning point, but is nothing on its own. Spirit energy works to bring life to thought, and when the two combine, form is created. This is how all form is created. When we apply the Law of Attraction, we are conceiving of an idea (mind energy), bringing life to it through imbuing it with emotion (spirit energy), and ultimately bringing it into form (physical energy).

But many of us have difficulty manifesting our desires and wonder why that is. Actually, at the subconscious level, many of us on the spiritual path are experiencing difficulty coming to terms with being in physical form. We fail to see the world of matter as a Divine manifestation of Source. We view our physicality as inferior to spirituality and separate the two. But every one of us on the spiritual path today has the charge to meld the secular and the sacred; to bring the spiritual down to Earth. It is what Caroline Myss calls being a "mystic without a monastery". In doing so, we must release any resistance to being in physical form. Because only by being in the physical can we manifest our Divine purpose here on Earth.

I want to share with you a technique that I have used every day for several years now. Every day when you open your eyes, even before you get out of bed, say the following words: "Dear God, thank you for another beautiful day on planet Earth". Then go about your day, seeing the beauty of your life with new eyes. Silently bless each person and each situation that you come across. When you see your life as precious, you begin to have gratitude for your existence, and the resistance disappears. Try this for 21 days and see what happens. n
