I was lying in bed on a friday night feeling really miserable and pretty much hopeless. I could barely speak because of my progressively increasing laryngitis, swallowing hurt like hell, my head was full of mucous; and I was going into coughing fits every time I blew my swollen, bleeding nose.
It all started that past Monday when I woke up at 3 a.m. with what felt like knives in my throat. I reached for my gallon size, zip lock bag of homeopathics and proceeded to take my many remedies. After years of study in the field of alternative medicine I was pretty adept at treating most commonplace maladies. I could “feel” that it was a bad case of strep that was plaguing me and I had been busy all week taking herbal, homeopathic, vitamin, flower essence and nutritional remedies.
But I still felt like something you’d find in a thousand year old crypt! I was weak and so tired I couldn’t even make a fist, and I felt like I needed a bed pan. It was then that I had my turn around. In that moment of total weakness, I realized I just wasn’t strong enough to deal with that powerful strep bacteria. The strep was stronger than me. Greater than me. I was less than it. I could not fight it. And in that moment of depressive despair, I decided I needed antibiotics! So be it!
I didn’t really pay much attention to it at first but I started to feel a little bit better. By the time I got back from the pharmacy, both my head and throat had noticeably improved. It felt like a shift, what I had been waiting for. I was thrilled and decided to hold off on the antibiotics until the next day. n It felt like it had been highly significant for me to acknowledge that the strep bacteria was greater than me. That I was less than it. To feel a sense of true humility, even if that meant that it was accompanied by a hoard of “negative” thoughts and feelings. n I realized that it didn’t really matter if I needed to take the antibiotics or not, my whole attitude and perception of my illness was shifting. My consciousness was expanding and surprising me with new ways of seeing. I still hoped I wouldn’t have to take the antibiotics, and then I realized that that hope was totally ego based. Sure, it would be great to brag about my rallying immune system... And then I realized there was a lot more happening here.
And all throughout that night and into the dawn hours of the next day, my humbled psyche was awed by the wisdom of the single minded, microorganism consciousness within my body. Here’s what they had to say--
There is a macrocosm which consists of the whole body including the personality or ego which is the individuated portion of the macrocosm that possesses free will. There is then the mental body and the feeling body. The spiritual soul is the foundation, core essence, the source energy from which the very space of the macrocosm springs. n Within this realm, this reality, the macrocosm appears to be fairly united in perceiving itself and its environment as if it were living within a system of separation and even division. There is much difficulty within the macrocosm to find unity, oneness or even connectedness within itself, reality, and by natural extension, within the creation and the universe.
There are then also many microcosms within the whole body and within all the other seemingly separate aspects of the macrocosm. There are the microcosms of the vital organs and tissues, as well as the microcosms of sadness and laughter. Existential thought would be another, and meditation upon spiritual matters still another.
We are the largest microcosm within the totality of the body. We do not perceive or experience separation or division in the manner that you, who identify yourselves primarily with and as the macrocosm, do. We are a single minded, wholly united microorganism consciousness. We are solely proud of our unity, and we prefer to be addressed as one nation. We are the unseen nation. We are the microcosmic micro nation that lives within the very cells and micro plasma of all living things. We dwell within primordial matter, and we have been here from the beginning of the creation. We are the closest beings within physical manifestation to the original creation. We follow the natural laws and ways of the Creator. We know no separation or division. We are one and whole. Our lives are governed by an eternal, boundless, ever expanding order of symbiosis. We are one and many living together in harmony and balance. We have overcome the opposite pull within us. Our positive and negative polarized citizens allow the very formation of our and your realities. Our vast diversity creates abundance and complexity, and a richness of life that you would most likely find incomprehensible.
Above all we desire acknowledgment and respect, and in equal measure an opportunity to come into relationship with the macrocosm. We desire and need to share the wisdom of our consciousness with you. We have been able to harmonize and balance so much of what is so troubling you... and destroying you and your reality. n We are composed of a tremendous, truly cosmic vastness. We are a network of symbiotic beings. We are the bacteria, viruses, probiotics, fungi and yeast, to name only a few among us, that you perceive either as lethal or beneficial or simply unknown. In truth our society of consciousness is triple in nature just as all is within the original creation. We have positively polarized beings, negatively polarized beings, and neutral beings among us.
Unlike the beings and realities of the macrocosm, we truly have no unconsciousness or evil within us.
We also do not in turn experience death in the way that the macrocosm now does. Our manifested bodies and consciousness experiences only a constant state of change and rebirth. We are always becoming who we are.
So then why do we so often manifest in the lives of the macrocosm in the form of illness? If we are so harmonious and balanced why do we go out of balance?
Because it is the only way that we can get your attention! It appears that it is only our negatively polarized beings that have gained your interest. Apparently, your consciousness recognizes only that which causes its discomfort. We have no desire to cause you harm or destroy you. Harm and destruction have no real meaning to us. It is most difficult for us to understand. We know only that when our negatively polarized selves over multiply, the macrocosm turns its attention to us. We understand that this causes you harm only because we have received this communication from you, and of course, that we have experienced the destruction of the whole body.
We feel a pressing need to communicate our wisdom with the macrocosm. Our consciousness is one yet we are many. The macrocosm must learn this-- To live in harmony and balance while honoring and respecting the vast diversity of the creation. Listening to the many microcosms within the macrocosm is an ability that seems to be on the brink of extinction. n We are the unseen microcosmic nation and we say to the macrocosm-- Know thyself! Look within! Listen! We can teach you how to live harmoniously. In balance with your fellow brethren and all the other life around you. Just as the macrocosm and all the species within it has its own mass consciousness, we too of the unseen microcosmic nation have our own mass consciousness. We live within the cellular structure of all life upon your planet. We are not limited to the human body. Our consciousness stretches out and lies at the root and foundation of every plant, animal, and the very elemental forces that comprise the world as you know it.
Our consciousness is so vast that it touches upon the very outermost reaches of the ethers. Space is the element that is closest to us. We are forever surrounded by space just as the stars in the heavens are surrounded by space. Our consciousness is quite similar to the stars in fact.
We are the true meaning of he who is last, shall be first. We say this not as an intimidation but as an attempt at communication. The macrocosm must learn from the microcosm within it. As above, so below. These things are not new yet what is new is the need to actually live these truths as a whole macrocosmic society and mass consciousness.
The need for a world based upon symbiotic relationships is obvious. The need for a harmonious, balanced society that respects diversity of all life is critical. The macrocosm knows these things yet finds itself helpless and oftentimes clueless as to how to manifest them in the world. We can help. We can offer our social structure as a model. All we ask is that you listen. Free will is yours. You must choose. We are confident that if the macrocosm allows its spirit, its soul to make that choice, then it will, indeed, choose to benefit from the wisdom that our unseen microcosmic nation has to offer.
We will now address the forms of healing or attempts at restoring our balance that the macrocosm has thus far attempted. First, we want to assure you that there is no need for illness, aging, or even death as you know it. Our sole purpose is to communicate with you. Once we are in communion, there will be no further need for us to ever be out of balance. Balance is our natural state. Balance is effortless. Imbalance requires effort on our part. We feel we must make this effort, for your sake.
Herbal medicine is most ancient. It contains within it our own consciousness as it is formed and composed from the natural elements of the earth. Healing herbs are always prescribed in clear adherence to the natural order of the original creation. Herbal medicine when used correctly is always triple in nature. There is the strong and often times deeply cleansing herb that addresses the major imbalance. There is the nourishing, supportive herb that rebuilds the imbalance, and there is the synergistic herb that acts as a neutral agent bringing the other two together. From these three is created the herbal formula that mostly targets the positively polarized microorganisms, strengthening them in order to restore our balance. Of course, since our consciousness is one, our negatively polarized and neutral beings are also affected, yet still the balance is restored.
Homeopathic medicine is quite unique, for although it primarily targets the macrocosm, since it is an essence therapy of great detail and accuracy, it also has the capacity to reach inside the cells and effect our consciousness on a microcosmic level. The balance is restored, thus, on both a macrocosmic and microcosmic level, simultaneously. The advantages of homeopathy are great and the macrocosm would do well to become more familiar with this subtle and most effective form of healing, for it is truly the closest to the truth of harmonious balance.
Flower essence medicine works on the macrocosmic level, and balance is restored by an indirect effect upon our consciousness.
Modern medicine solely targets our negatively polarized brethren. Antibiotics restore our balance by reducing or suppressing negatively polarized microorganisms. Modern medicine has forgotten the triple wisdom inherent in herbal medicine. It offers only one strong negatively polarized agent. No antibiotic treatment is complete without the supportive probiotic agent and the fusing agents of homeopathic and flower essence medicine. Since modern medicine is most accessible and accepted within the current macrocosm, it would be most wise to incorporate the two missing links from this treatment, so that the restored balance within the whole of the macrocosm is as strong as it was before the imbalance. n Remember that we are one, united consciousness! When you destroy the bacteria that is making you ill, you are also destroying the bacteria that is giving you life! When you restore your internal probiotic flora you are also restoring the bacteria that the antibiotic may have “over killed.” The balance of the microorganisms within you cuts both ways. You cannot affect one without affecting the other. We are one consciousness. Our balance is the key to your health. Our balance is our normal, natural state.
Antibiotic medicine has its place. We do not see it as an enemy. It does not kill us in the manner that you are accustomed of thinking of it. We would very much like it if you did not look upon us as an enemy. We would appreciate it if you would let us know how you are going to attempt to restore our balance. We would like to communicate with you about this.
More importantly, we need to communicate with you about how you are living on the earth. We want to help you. There is no need for illness to be a part of our communication. Listen and all will be well. For you, our world, the whole. Always be conscious of the whole. The well being of the whole of life, the whole of creation, the whole of the universe. These are the most important things. Let us help you live as individual beings within a planet and realm of ever expanding, eternal diversity. One and many living and choosing always for the well being of the whole. Understanding the greatest wisdom that we can impart-- It is right and good and just to be a microcosm within the divine. n Yes, you, macrocosm of which we are a microcosmic part. You, too, are a part of a still greater macrocosm, and it is good and right and just. There is no wisdom in being gods, only wisdom in loving what the gods have created. Watch for your arrogance cloaked in the guise of spiritual growth. It is not who is the greater and stronger, it is not who is first-- It is who looks within and listens well. Who knows thyself enough to be unmoved by self pride.
Pride is solely reserved for the whole! Pride is a spiritual feeling expressing love for the whole of creation! Just as your individuality has turned into self serving ego, your pride has degenerated into selfish pomp and false humility. Take pride solely in the unity of your mass consciousness always serving the wellness of the whole of the creation.
We are here inside you, the unseen micro nation that lives within your cells. We have much to say to you. Much to share. Speak with us and be forever well.
I was feeling pretty overwhelmed yet I knew this was one of those threshold moments and there was no turning back. I was still feeling somewhat better but a dry, hacking cough had set in whenever I blew my nose or tried to talk. I was starting to cough up some yellowish green mucous, and I could “feel” the strep wanting to settle into my system and start playing hide n’ go seek. Nope, I wasn’t just kidding when I felt that this strep bacteria was stronger than me. I really meant it, and now, I would have to follow up on it. n For me, taking antibiotics was a big, major deal that I dreaded like the plague. But so be it. I resigned myself to my fate and proceeded to address the unseen micro nation within my body. I told it that I had decided I needed the antibiotics and that this was its last chance to restore the balance on its own. I pledged my firm commitment to restore all the microorganisms within me.
I could feel that the unseen micro nation wasn’t about to let me off the hook. And for the first time in my adult life, I started to take antibiotics without any regret. It wasn’t because I thought they were great or that I condoned taking them unless nothing else worked. It’s just that I realized that what was really important was my communication with the unseen micro nation inside my body. And I was continuing with many of my homeopathics as well as my flower essence formula. Probiotics and I were old friends, and my herbal tea was already brewing on the stove top.
It felt like such a sigh of relief! I could relax and trust that everything would be okay. I was doing the right thing. Making the right choice. It was all pretty bizarre because a couple of days ago I would have argued until I was blue that antibiotics were anything but a desperate move born from fear! But now, everything was different. I was no longer facing off with “the enemy,” killing them all and letting god sort them out! Not at all! n And the feeling that was most dominant and overwhelming for me was a feeling that I was entering into a new relationship with a vast consciousness that had previously been unknown to me. It was kind of exciting and I marveled at the amazing wisdom of the unseen, micro nation. Wow! n The implications of their first communication with me felt boundless. I, the macrocosm to their microcosm felt humbled and small in the face of their vast mass consciousness, and truly, the unseen, micro nation within me is greater than me, for it is interconnected with the mass unseen micro nation consciousness in all life here upon the earth and perhaps the whole of the manifested creation.
Just as I am connected with the spirit that brought forth the creation, perhaps the unseen micro consciousness within the cells of all manifested life is pure, manifested spirit.
