What is a Logo? And Why YOUR Business needs one

Does your business have a logo? No? Then YOU definitely need to read this! Six plus+ reasons why your business needs a professional corporate graphic identity to separate yourself from your competitors & potentially gain more customers!

It is hard to think of a successful business or company that does not have a logo. In fact, I can't think of a single one. Everyone knows the golden arched letter 'M' of a certain famous chain of restaurants. They are set apart from their competition and instantly recognizable by their famous logo. Choosing such a distinctive logo helps build familiarity with their customers and build brand loyalty

There are many different advantages of having a logo. Here is just a few:nn> A logo tells potential customers who you are and what you and your business stand fornn> It lets people know a little (or a lot) about your business even before having to read anything about your business. Remember, a picture can be worth 1000 words.nn> It builds your corporate identitynn> A logo can set you apart from your competitors & get you those extra customers. When you have a professional image & your competitors don't its obvious who your customer is more likely to buy from.nn> You can, and will become instantly recognizable & build customer loyaltynn> A logo gives your business a professional image & gives a positive impact to your customers

Overall a logo can greatly improve your business image and ultimately have the desired effect you would like to have on your customers: a positive one.

There are two ways you can get a logo for your business.

One way is to hire a graphic designer. There are several disadvantages to this method. The main disadvantage is that a graphic designer can cost hundreds of dollars which is alot of money to pay out, especially if your business is new & just starting up. Another disadvantage is that you can't see the design before you pay the designer. If you don't like the design, the designer may only make a few slight changes to it.
Another way is to download a template from a logo template seller. These come in vector and Photoshop format. These are often around $100+.

However there is another way. If you are on a tight budget or are just starting out there is a website that gives away logo templates absolutely free. The website is : FreeVectorLogos.com They have 1000's of designs to choose from that you can download instantly for free. I have used this site often to produce a professional looking logo for free. All you have to do is change the text and add your company name. You can make any changes you want to the design, depending on how good your skills are.

Its as simple as that! I hope you find a great logo design that you like for your business.
