Day trading is a great way to make money in the stock market. It has many advantages over other strategies in the stock market, some of which are.nn1. You Don’t Have the Gap RisknnStocks can gap, and sometimes they can gap big. I have seen stocks gap over 20% overnight on a rare occasion. If they work in your favor they can be great, but if they work against you they can be your worst nightmare.nnThe best part about day trading is that you do not have to worry about your positions making a large gap against you when stocks open the next day, because you are already out. If you find it too stressful to hold positions overnight and have some time to trade when the markets are open you might want to take a look at this strategy.nn2. The Fundamentals Don’t Matter As MuchnnUnless there is a big economic announcement the fundamentals do not play much of a role in where a stock is likely to go in the short term. This makes it easier as a trader because you do not have to be worried about such factors as earnings and balance sheets.nnThe only thing that matters is the trend and a few technical indicators. This makes it easier to find a trade.nn3. Don’t Have to DiversifynnYou don’t have to research 20 or 30 different stocks to find the best deals. You only need one good index to be a day trader. This saves you a lot of time.nn4. No Emotional attachmentnnIt is easier to exit a stock when you know the trade will only last a few hours. On the other hand when you hold a stock overnight and have looked at some fundamental data for the company it is hard to admit you are wrong if a trade turn against you.nnFor more information about the stock market Visit http://www.stocks-simplified.com nnFor some stock trading tips visit http://www.stocks-simplified.com/stock_tips.html
