The relationship that you enter into with your business mentor is one that is best approached with a positive heart and attitude, as well as a willingness to be teachable. You need to trust your mentor to be there for you, to be confidential as to what you're going through and trying to achieve, and to be someone who's opinion you value.

Your mentor is there to advise you, not console you - do not expect any mentor worth their salt, to simply say "Yes sir", or "Yes madam. Use the following outline as your guide to what you should expect from your internet marketing mentor, and ask them what they expect from you too.

When the idea is not right; your mentor says, "NO!" - this you must expect when you are attempting something your mentor has already experienced failures with.

When the time is not right; your mentor says, "SLOW!" - This you must expect when your mentor sees you getting ahead of yourself (i.e. - committing $$ to advertising to a market that does not need or want your product)

When you are not right; your mentor says, "GROW!" - expect your mentor to advise you of your weaknesses, and to point out the areas that you should learn more about first.

When everything is right; your mentor says, "GO!" - After spending time with you, your mentor will give you the green light to implement that new campaign, or start to promote the new product launch.

Your mentor has learned through experience that creating profits online requires dedication and focus, specific knowledge and specific actions, among many other things!

You must take action, by doing the work and implementing a what your mentor teaches and advises. Your mentor will share this expereince with you, helping you stay focused on creating profits online, and avoiding the pitfalls of learning by trial and error.
