It is important to buy a comfortable quality bed. Sleeping is one of the most important and essential functions that contributes to our wellbeing and overall health. We are lucky that we have such a wide variety of comfortable beds to choose from in this modern age. People from ancient times used to neatly and comfortably arrange hay and grass to form a mattress. We have come a very long way from neatly arranged hay to these modern times where we have the option to sleep on adjustable electric beds that self-regulate heat. This article shall briefly explain why sleeping on a good quality bed leads to better mornings and a better overall experience of the following day. Sleeping on a comfortable bed has many health benefits. One of the main benefits of sleeping is that it improves your memory and your overall brain function. It is surprising and remarkable how active our brains are even during our sleep. There are parts of our brains that work even more when we are asleep as compared to when we are awake. Our conscious mind goes off when we go to sleep. We are unable to see and react to the external world when we are in this state. However, the subconscious part of our mind is ever awake and always at work. Our subconscious mind is a giant that never sleeps. As we sleep, paths are forged in our brains and connections are reinforced and paved. We are far better able to function the next day when we have had full night’s rest. Whether you are an athlete that is going to compete in a grueling marathon where your body shall be tested to the limit or whether you are a surgeon who shall be performing a complex heart transplant that will keep you in surgery for most of the day, getting adequate hours of sleep is an important factor that shall determine whether you will succeed and excel. Unlike a simple animal with a smaller brain, such as a giraffe, that only requires a total of forty minutes of sleep a day, a human being requires a lot more rest. Studies and other scientific findings suggest that sleep plays a housekeeping role that removes toxins in your brain that build up while you are awake. There is no substitute for a good night’s rest. Sleep deprivation makes it difficult for brain cells to communicate effectively, this can lead to temporary mental lapses that affect memory and visual perception. You may literally begin to hallucinate and begin to lose your sanity. They say that a person that has not slept the whole night is as dangerous as a drunk person. They will make many mistakes and are more likely to be involved in an accident. In conclusion, one should always strive for a good and productive morning. One should buy a good quality bed and enjoy their sleep. It is true to say that a better you begins with a better night.
