A Blog Explaining How I Found the Perfect Flooring For My Brand New House.

A couple of weeks ago I went to pick out some flooring, as I am currently decorating my new house, which I only moved into three months ago.
I have been putting it off for weeks now, but after all the decorating in the bedroom, the dusty and paint stained carpet, couldn't stay any longer.
So it was time to visit the flooring showroom to discover what type of floor was available to me, I did hope to quickly find the right flooring for my bedroom, something that looked classic and stylish, without the gigantic price tag.
Whilst at the showroom, I was shown an array of different samples from laminate flooring all the way to tiles and carpets, The sales representative was extremely helpful and cheerful which was surprising considering it was a Monday. He was understanding as I told him my concerns about wooden flooring. My main worry was that it wouldn't look genuine, many wooden floors now remind me of a show home and don't feel very homely.
After an hour I came to a flooring I liked, it was pine hardwood flooring. To me it looked like it could've been from an old house, discovered underneath an antique carpet. The pine was dark brown with an aged feel. It was just ideal for my bedroom. The sales rep told me this was one of the more popular styles with many customers using it in their bedrooms and living rooms.
I also asked if it would be an issue because I have a dog Stains can be cleaned up more effectively and dust can be swept up with the occasional dog hair. The sales reps at the showroom just advised me to keep my dogs nails trimmed so no scratches were made to my flooring. I even got to take a sample back home and after days of pondering I decided to get pine wooden flooring in my bedroom.
Many friends already have wooden flooring, but there are many varieties. From traditional wood like Pine and Oak all the way to lacquered wood and bamboo, all of which look great and can add a twist to any room. Whilst I was there I also had a sneaky peak at the tiling and laminates and I think I have already found the perfect floor for my bathroom!!
