Most people tend to pay far too much attention to their setup system and believe that is the only thing necessary to profit in the stock market. They don’t realize that there is so much more that goes underneath and all that must be planned beforehand if they want to be profitable traders. At the beginning it might look a bit hard to decide and plan all that is required to trade in the markets, but with time you will get the hang of it and it will become second nature.
There is way more factors than one might expect when deciding one’s setup. Questions like how is your mental and physical state at that particular day, should be always on your mind. Trading is like any other business and I would even dare to say that resembles more sports than any other white collar business. This might sound odd, but if you have been trading for a while now, maybe you understand what I’m trying to say here: mental activity can potentially exhaust you way more than any other activity.
If you have worked somewhere where you were mainly doing a manual, tedious and repetitive job, then maybe you have realized that, that particular job wasn’t as strenuous as a constant mental activity. And trading in the stock market is all about your mental state. How can one expect to be profitable and a successful trader if one is completely exhausted from other activities? To be a victorious trader, you must be in proper fit and have rested well.
If you believe that all it takes to become a profitable trader is some clicks of your mouse, think again. To make that click a worthy click, your brain will have to make all sorts of calculations and math in a split second. All of them will then turn into one small action that might take only five seconds to perform, but that will be the difference between a profit and a loss in your net result. So, do not take this lightly and always try to face the market in suitable mental and physical conditions.
