Both Google Adwords and SEO are useful for promoting your website online. However there is difference in when you should use either one.rnFor entrepreneurs who want to get people to their website for an upcoming show in a months time, or trainers advertising to fill up a weekend's karate class - Pay Per Click advertising or Google Adwords is more useful than Search Engine Optimisation. Search Engine Optimisation is essential to a website, but only when you have more time to plan the promotion. For more specific, immediate results Pay Per Clicks (PPC) advertising or Google Adwords is the way to go. With Search Engine Optimization you can only list around 20 to 25 keywords in your meta keywords. And it takes a long time to see the results on Google, Yahoo or other search engines. You are totally dependent on how each search engine ranks your website, and they change this often. Nothing is guaranteed. SEO is not for someone who needs people to their website today, or has many different things to offer. Also, with many people trying to manipulate rankings on search engines, the keyword field has almost become obsolete. Instead there are other factors like meta descriptions, page titles, image attribute tags etc. But besides these on page SEO factors, a lot of off page work is required for you to rank highly. Building back links to a website is a time intensive work. You have to individually contact businesses that you think can be a possible partner and then find ways to promote your website on their website. The results will be there if done correctly, but it takes time and is not immediate. For business that are not chasing immediate results, Search Engine Optimisation is preferable to Google Adwords. Example, if you are targeting people who shipping from us to India, besides an Adwords campaign, a well built SEO campaign will also help. With Google Adwords, you can pay google to put your ad to the right audience. If you do it well, you are guaranteed to be on the first results page each time anything related to your industry is searched online on Google. There is no keywords limit. And the results are there to see immediately. You can display your website to an audience that's specifically looking for your product or service. This is very useful for entrepreneurs who have money to spend on advertising. This is powerful.
