India is one of the prime tourist destinations across the globe and millions of visitors from all parts of the world. However, not all of them are repeat visitors that already have some experience about how to go for a tour in the country. First time visitors will naturally have a few questions to ask and a few tips resolving those issues could be helpful.
Selection of Appropriate Travel Route
First and foremost requirement for the visitors is to select the best travel route befitting their requirements, budget and preferences. Visitors who travel to India has to consider the time they have for such purposes. For visitors on short itinerary will find the classic Golden Triangle Tours most convenient for their purpose covering Agra (Red Forts at Agra and Fatepur Sikri and Tajmahal), Delhi (Red Fort, Jantar Mantar, India Gate, Qutub Minar,) and Jeypore (Hawa Mhal, Ambar Fort, and Jantar Mantar) that offers huge shopping scopes for them besides numerous sites for visiting. Visitors having more time at their disposal can choose other itinerary with longer durations.
Religious Tours
Despite being predominantly a Hindu State, India offers numerous religious sites of importance, For instance there is the Jumma Musjid for Muslims in New Delhi, or the tomb of Salim Chisti in Aurangabad, Golden Temple for Sikhs in Amritsar, and Jain temples in Kerala, Odisha, Gujrat and northern parts of India. Visitors looking for Buddha Tour may visit Lumbini in the neighboring country Nepal and places in Sri Lanka and multiple sites like Buddha Gaya in Bihar, Dhauli in Odisha, and various other sites. Sikh people coming from all over the world, NRIs and people belonging to other religion find Trip to Golden Temple in Amritsar one of the most enlightening and enchanting experience of their life.
Visitors Having Time to Spare
Many visitors are not constrained for time and have some to spare. For such visitors an extensive tour of hill stations in India could be an ideal plan. Most of the notable hill stations are located across the Himalayan ranges in North India but there are some exotic locations in other parts of India as well. It could be Shimla, Mussourie, Nainital, Kullu Manali, Gangtok, Changu, Dehradoon, Darjeeling, Aizol, Ooty, Arakhkhu, Ranikhet or the Dal lakes in Kashmir; visitors should arrange their accommodation in advance if they are visiting during the season times from March through May and September-October as during these periods most of the hill stations would be crowded.
Whatever the itinerary is; planning the accommodation, transport and time schedule would be necessary and a professional and experienced tour organizer can help it the best way.
