Suppose you got printed an outstanding brochure for your company and you left it in your drawer. Nobody has seen it and no one knows what it is all about.
This is what exactly happens over internet. You may make a very good looking an attractive web design but if you have no visitors to read them then all your efforts is nothing less than garbage.
And even if your searchers do not know the url of your company name and they decide to search you using certain keywords via search engines. Can you be found and whether your name is coming at the bottom of the search engine or not.
Web marketing is becoming one of the most important channels, so avoiding it will greatly affect your overall performance. In the prevailing tough competition you cannot afford to put up your website and hope for traffic to come automatically.
There are two methods to develop website traffic:
- SEO(on site)
- Internet marketing(off site)

The queries get abandoned if the user doesn’t find the results in the first 3 pages. So you need to come into those first three pages to get the required visibility. The company website that gets listed in the top positions in search results is one of the category leaders. You need to advertise and inform the web that your site and web design is live. To generate visits you can delve into various activities like search engine advertising, online PR activities, social media and email marketing.
With the increasing explosion of websites a lot of work is involved to get your website noticed. In the present situation if your competitor is found before you then their chances of winning the business gets more.
Natural search rankings are very effective to get traffic while generating quality leads. At the end of the day it is more important to focus on visitors that are actively looking for you and not on your competitors view.
