This guide will explain all that you need to know about BT Vision in order to make an informed purchase decision, as well as what channels are on offer under their Freeview service. BT Vision has a wide range of channels to choose from and different packages to opt for, making it ideal for a number of different households. There are two main deals to go for. Vision Essential is the cheaper of the two at just £4 per month and is ideal for those who do not watch that much television, as most of the on demand content is on a pay per view basis, so you only have to pay for what you watch. This may well be more cost effective than going for the Vision Unlimited service, which costs £12.50 per month. It is more ideal for those who watch a lot of television as the on demand content is included free of charge. It is possible to upgrade from Essential to Unlimited at any time though, so you can change your mind in the future.

BT Vision Channels are available via the Freeview service that is included, as well as various add on options. The Freeview channels include BBC One, BBC Two, BBC Three, BBC Four, ITV 1, ITV 2, ITV 3, Channel 4 and Channel 5. Sky Sports 1 and Sky Sports 2 can also be added on if you are a big sports fan. ESPN is not available on the Essential package, but can be viewed on the Unlimited deal if you so wish. There are many programmes to watch, including drama, soap operas, films, sports, children’s shows, cartoons, comedy, reality television, music videos and programmes, documentaries, educational shows and much more, enabling there to be something on offer to suit everyone’s tastes.

On demand content within the Film, TV, Sport, Kids and Music can also be bought for 50p per show on the Essential package or free of charge on Unlimited. This gives you an even bigger access to more programmes, so you will never be stuck for something to watch. BBC iPlayer and replay and catch up services are all included for free within either of the deals. The Box Office gives you access to some of the best latest movies on a pay per view basis from just £2.50 per film, making it even cheaper than going to the cinema in many cases.

Sky Sports 1 or Sky Sports 2 can be added on from just £12.90 per month or £18.20 per month for both at the same time, so you save more when opting for the two channels together. ESPN can be added on with Unlimited, but not with Essential, while Vision Adult is available on either from just £3.20 per programme. Bolly and Beyond is another premium add on channel available on the Unlimited deal at an extra cost of £7.20 per month, so if you enjoy Bollywood programmes and movies then this is ideal.
