Turkey is one of those places that has so much to much to offer in terms of tourist appeal that choosing a particular destination is an incredibly hard task. From the mesmerizing mountain ranges to the beautiful beaches and everything in between, there’s a plethora of desirable destination that must be visited at least once in a lifetime. To be completely honest, even writing this blog that picks a handful of places for a person to visit, would be doing the country and the tourists injustice. However, the fact remains that most of the tourists have a limited amount of time and resources, which makes it nearly impossible for them to go around the entire country and visit all of the tourist attractions. Yet still, there are certain places that the tourists cannot miss if they decide to spend the money and take the time out to visit Turkey for vacations. With that said, here are a few tourist attractions that ought to be experienced by the visitors: Aspendos If you’re just so happen to be a history buff, Turkey is perhaps the best tourist destination you could ask for. One of the most intriguing and inspiring historic locations happens to be Aspendos theatre. Situated south of Antalya, Aspendos is the Roman Theatre of ancient times that was built during the rule of Marcus Aurelius. The theatre is surrounded by huge mountains, creating a beautiful ambience and scenery of the entire site. The whole area is a historic treasure chest as there are also other ruins to explore within the same vicinity that are very likely to leave the visitors in awe. Patara Beach Patara beach is the most heavenly destinations for any beach lover in the world. You can enjoy the bustling of the crowd during the summer noons or take a serene walk of solitude during the morning time to enjoy the beauty and peace, all to yourself. The beach is spread for 11 miles along the sea and has plenty of room to host thousands of visitors at once. Near the beach, are the ruins of the ancient Lycian City for the history lovers to explore after they’ve had a wonderful time at the beach. You can have a stay in Fethiye or Kas if you wish to visit this wonderful location. Mount Nemrut Mount Nemrut is one of those spots that takes you into an other-worldly trans. The large mountain surrounded by the remnants of huge statues, sitting amidst complete wilderness makes for eerie yet unique and wonderful experience. Although Turkey is a country riddled with archeological sites, Mount Nemrut happens to be one of the most fascinating historic spots, not just in Turkey, but the entire world. This avenue is situated near Adiyaman city where decent accommodation can be found. Pamukkale Situated on the outskirts of Denizli city, Pamukkale is perhaps one of the most beautiful places on God’s Green Earth. The name ‘Pamukkale’ literally means ‘cotton castle’ in English. Upon the first look, this place looks like something out of a fairytale, with a naturally formed staircase of snow and its water surface glistening into the beholder’s eyes, creating a heavenly and serene ambience of the entire area. Of all the places, availing the opportunity to explore this magical place is an absolute must. Cappadocia Cappadocia is perhaps one of the most famous tourist destinations in the world. The beautiful view of the hill coupled with a hot air balloon ride, Cappadocia makes for a perfect tourist getaway for an individual as well as for the entire family. With the beautiful view of the hills and the architecture built within coupled with the sky filled with the colors of hundreds of hot air balloons, Cappadocia is the place where some of the most beautiful photographs in the world come from. If you plan to come to Turkey, Cappadocia is an experience you cannot miss. Even though the aforementioned destinations are some of the must-see places, Turkey has a ton more to offer. And with the limited time and resources on the hands of a visitor, it is impossible to enjoy the Turkish beauty and hospitality to the fullest. However, if you live in Turkey, you can explore all that Turkey has to offer and more.
