If you need to lose weight or want to build muscle, a diet plan with lots of protein will help you achieve your goal. The consumption of high amounts of protein and small amounts of carbohydrates allow smoldering energy and maintain stable levels of blood sugar. This maintains a healthy pancreas and helps maintain a healthy weight. While diets rich in carbohydrates have been linked to obesity, low carb diets high in protein have been found to support weight loss.
